Day 19: Shopping Task Results

20140121-130949.jpg

See how Housemates performed during the first day of their shopping task

To earn their shopping the housemates are on an exhausting journey to
the North Pole. To get there they are travelling by husky sled. Along
the way they are taking part in various ice tasks to win more time in
the final game. LUISA, DAPPY, LEE and CASEY have become the sled dogs
and must pull the others who have become Explorers. However, things aren’t all too bad for the huskies as Big Brother surprised them last

night by sending them to their kennel for the night….which was
actually The Mutt’s Nuts Pub. The huskies discovered that they must
keep The Mutt’s Nuts secret from their fellow Explorer housemates as
the passing of the Shopping Task relied solely on them. If the other
housemates rumble them they will fail their Shopping Task.

CHALLENGES THROUGHOUT YESTERDAY INCLUDED:

BRAIN FREEZE CHALLENGE
ICE FISHING CHALLENGE
TRIGGER – THE POLAR BEAR ALARM
L
On occasions throughout the task, including when the Huskies were in
the Mutt’s Nuts, the sound of a seal was played in. This is the polar
bear alarm; sled riders and huskies have a short time to get to their
β€˜safe zones’: outside in the garden.

THE MUTT’S NUTS PUB
Last night the Huskies enjoyed a pub lunch, drinks, darts, a pub quiz,
a chocolate fondue and champagne. They must continue to make the
Explorer’s believe they are living in squalor.

Day 19: Task - The Avalanche

So, after hours of tough tasks, the housemates have reached the North Pole - is the conclusion of this epic task upon us? Very nearly. Be patient, it'll be worth it.

In the final physical element of the task, the housemates will be called out into the garden, where they will discover that their food shopping has been frozen inside large blocks of ice. Disaster! Well, unless the Huskies and their hammers have anything to say about it. If they smash all the ice and place the food on the ice table within the allotted time they'll be allowed to keep it - we'll let you know how they do.

Of course, as we know, the physical tasks have never the deciding factor in this task. To secure the luxury budget for this week's shopping, the Huskies have to ensure that the Explorers still think that they've been living in squalor - and not in the mildy luxurious 'Mutt's Nuts' pub.

Have they managed it? Stay posted for the final reveal.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014 housemates 'get prompts from producers'

Ollie Locke.
  •

There’s another Celebrity Big Brother 2014 controversy brewing after it’s been revealed producers have been entering the house.

An unfortunately timed shot from the camera runs on spin-off programme Bit On The Side at the weekend showed a crew member in the house alongside the celebs holding up cue cards.

The female task team member was seen holding up a sign (the contents of which were not shown) to Ollie Locke and Sam Faiers as they took part in Saturday night’s Talent Show.

While it was part of a task it does still go against the fundamental rule of Big Brother that the housemates have no contact with the outside world, including other people.

A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: β€œSometimes the task team enters the Big Brother house but they don’t communicate with housemates.

β€œOllie and Sam were taking part in an improvised reality scene and as part of this they were provided with storylines to react to.”

Some viewers complained about being misled by the show after believing that the reality telly pair had come up with the scene themselves, with one tweeting: β€œAnnoyed. Here’s Me thinking it was honest and well planned by them.”

Ollie and Sam went on to win the contest, which was decided by judges Jim DavidsonLuisa Zissman and Linda Nolan.

Or at least, that’s what we were told.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014 spoilers: Did housemates pass their secret shopping task?

  •

The Celebrity Big Brother housemates have been given the results of their latest shopping task.

Big Brother gathered the housemates to reveal that the huskies had not been staying in a kennel after all and instead had been enjoying delicious treats at The Mutt’s Nuts.

Not only that, but whether or not the group passed the task was solely down to the Huskies not getting discovered.

As the Huskies did not get rumbled by the Explorer’s they have successfully PASSED this week’s shopping task and will receive a luxury shopping budget.

The North Pole shopping task is now over.

Celebrity Big Brother airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.

Day 19: Two can play that game

It's a very simple rule, but one that seems to evade our housemates – talking about nominations is strictly forbidden. Not even a tiny nomination whisper is allowed. Or alluding to who you might have nominated. Nothing, zilch. It really is a no tolerance policy.

But however many times you remind them, there'll always be someone who breaks this rule. And in this instance the perpetrators were none other than Luisa and Dappy. Tut, tut you two.

As a punishment, Big Brother has ordered them to clean up their act and the House to boot. The only catch is they have to do so in a twosie, meaning they only have one available arm each.

"All my street cred has gone of the window" said Dappy as he scrubbed the floor in the bathroom.

Well that's what you get for having loose lips. Don't do the crime, if you can't pay the time.
