Lionel has been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother House
Showbiz legend and entertainment superhero Lionel Blair has left the Celebrity Big Brother building after spending 15 days sprinkling magic all over the compound. In addition to having a whole heap of rows with his housemates.
At 82, you might've thought a man of Lionel's age would've spent his two weeks taking it easy but, on the contrary, Mr. Blair got stuck right in, calling himself the Daddy from the off. Chained to Ollie Locke the moment he entered the picture, he bonded with the Made In Chelsea star immediately and a fond friendship began. Less can be said of Lionel's relationship with Jasmine, which started on the wrong foot on launch night.
As the first week rumbled on, Lionel found himself with some strange tasks, but he was more than equal to them. During the UFO weekly shopping task, his intergalactic trumpet impressed us all.
He thrilled us with his tasks, but it was his interpersonal relationship skills that we loved. Lionel was never afraid to blow up over perceived wrongs and, a seasoned professional, he also knew exactly how to bury the hatchet when he felt the time was right. Usually an hour or two later.
On Day 11, voted most annoying housemate along with fellow irritant Luisa, the pair were sent to the Most Annoying Room In The World, where they fought ridiculously uncomfortable furniture, never-ending alarm calls and constant telephone interruptions. They handled it with grace, though the rule-breaking later on caused them to fall out again the next day in spectacular style.
With all that activity, Lionel made himself an instant CBB legend. Add on top of all that this amazing clip of him eating cereal he accidentally sprinkled with salt and we find ourselves bowing at the feet of CBB royalty.

Lionel Blair has claimed that Casey Batchelor is playing a game in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Lionel, who was voted out of Celebrity Big Brother 2014 tonight, came bottom in this weekâs public poll alongside Luisa Zissman, Jim Davidson, Liz Jones, Lee Ryan, Ollie Locke, Sam Faiers and Dappy.
Speaking to host Emma Willis about being out of the house, he reacted: âItâs a bit sad because I loved them all in there but I missed my family so much.
âI said to the producers, donât treat me as an old man, I want to be one of them.â
He added: âIâve watched every Big Brother, but what I found most difficult was going into the Diary Room and talking about my friends.â
On his fellow housemates, Lionel said: âI think Casey is playing a game. Last night I had a long talk to Lee and he said that she said to him to âkeep it going because weâll get lots of pressâ, and he said âI swear on my life that is trueâ.
âAnd I heard her say tonight, to Luisa, âkeep it up because youâre on cameraâ. Sheâs absolutely aware of the cameras.â
Despite his rows in the house, Lionel insisted: âIf I go, I go, but I donât bear grudges. Luisa says it as it is and thatâs what I love about her, I think weâre going to be great friends.
âAnd Jim in the past few days has been Mr, Mr Lovely. Heâs been Charlie charming for the past few days.â
Finally, Lionel backed The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers to win the show: âI think sheâs beautiful and sheâs lovely.â

Evicted Celebrity Big Brother 2014 housemate Jasmine Waltz is apparently being lined up for a return.
But before some start bombarding Ofcom with complaints, itâll only be a temporary stay as part of a task.
And, of course, just to stir it all up, which we know pleases Big Brother like nothing else.
Weâve already see evicted housemate Evander Holyfield set a task for the group so we wouldnât be too shocked if Jasmine does make a comeback as well.
âJasmineâs return to the Big Brother house would be explosive,â a show source said ahead of last nightâs latest live show. âIf Lee survives eviction then he will be thrilled to have her back. Their sexy antics were the talk of the series.
âBut Casey wonât be happy. The pair have unfinished business so there could be a real bitch fight.â
The source added: âJas has teased that she wants to go back to stir things up. Even if they put her back in for a day for a task, it would be enough to set the fur flying.â
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper after her exit, Jasmine admitted sheâd âjump at the chanceâ to go back into the house.
The model, who was evicted on Wednesday night, told the newspaper: âItâs going to be a snoozefest now Iâm gone. Who do you want to watch? Me or Liz Jones and Linda Nolan?
âIf I could go back in I would jump at the chance and stir stuff up.â
Lee and Casey called a truce in the house yesterday ahead of the latest eviction, in scenes to be shown tonight.
Lionel Blair became the next housemate to leave in yesterdayâs third eviction.
Celebrity Big Brother continues this evening on Channel 5 with the latest highlights from the house starting at 9:45PM.

Day 15 round-up: Lionel hot foots it out of the House
It was the last waltz for Lionel Blair on Day 15 as the octogenarian entertainer was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother House.
But he didn't leave quietly, wowing the crowd with his cane trick hanky-panky.
Earlier in the day, Lee and Casey buried the hatchet, with the former claiming he wanted to put their issues to bed before the eviction.
And he wasn't the only one to pour oil over troubled waters. Jim apologised to Linda. Yes, you did hear correctly.
The boyband Romeo had another kind of attention to deal with later when Big Brother challenged Lee and Ollie to the Superfan task.
Lee triumphed over the Chelsea boy and his prize was a one-to-one with his superfan. Lee had a lovely time but little did he know, she wasn't all she seemed and his fellow housemates had the last laugh.
It was a particularly tense eviction night with eight housemates facing the public vote. Jim and Sam were saved first, scoring the most public votes.
Dappy and Ollie were given the news that their stay in the CBB bungalow was far from over before Emma announced to Lionel that he was the third housemate to be evicted. The housemates were shocked.
They largely lamented his loss although buddy Jim did declare that Mr Blair was best received in small doses. Meow!
With the House Daddy gone, who will step into his dancing shoes? We'll have to wait and see.
8.05am: Morning, troops. Nothing to report yet, they're all sound asleep. A few minor stirrings though, so watch this space
8.24am: There's nothing going on beyond some light snoring and the occasional parp. It's like Lionel never left
8.42am: Lee's foot is flicking like when a puppy dreams about chasing rabbits around fields. But who's he dreaming about chasing?
9.02am: We have our first open eyes of the morning. Dappy wakes up, has a look around, and... goes back to sleep
9.17am: Still nothing to report except a slight increase in snoring. Zzzzzzz
9.26am: Lionel's gone and we've not had a single name-drop all morning. OK, the fact they're all asleep hasn't helped, but still..
9.52am: BB's had enough of the snoring and the lights are ON. Jim is first to rise and seems intent on waking everyone else too
9.56am: This is our favourite part of the day, when HMs wake up wondering if they dreamt the entire CBB experience. They didnât.
10.02am: Jim's tactics haven't worked. He's now in the lounge drinking tea, while the others hide under their duvets.
