Day 10: The story so far - part one

We’re on Day 10, so how are the housemates doing so far? Here’s our guide to each celebrity’s first ten days in the House. Part one; Casey, Dappy, Jasmine, Jim and Lee. It's been emotional...

Casey:

Entering the House handcuffed to Lee, Casey and the boy from Blue bonded immediately. They were smooching early on, and joking about getting married by Day 2. It quickly soured, however, as Lee turned his attentions to Jasmine, and by Day 6 Casey and Lee thought they’d been evicted. Of course, that turned out to be a classic Big Brother wind-up, and off to the Bolt Hole they went. In there, they kissed and made-up, but how long will that last?

Dappy:

Dappy’s first ten days have been typically all over the place. On Day 3, he shared a hot tub with Jasmine and Luisa. Sadly, while the girls kissed each other, Dappy had to make do with a duck. His relationship with Luisa quickly soured, however, and days later they were hurling insults at one another. In between, Dappy was made to wear a nappy as punishment for discussing the eviction nomination process. We’re assuming he doesn’t wear nappies often, but he seemed comfortable enough. "I’m making this nappy look swag," he claimed, a touch unconvincingly.

Jasmine:

Day 1 got off to a spectacular start for Jasmine, as she was handcuffed to Sam, got drunk, flashed her boobs and fell over. She showed no signs of slowing down either, kissing Luisa in the hot tub on Day 3 and sharing a bed with Dappy the same night. She then kissed Lee in the UFO, but since then she has calmed down a bit, forming an alliance with Luisa, but generally avoiding confrontation.

Jim:

Jim’s worst fears were confirmed immediately, as he was hand-cuffed to arch-nemesis Linda. The early signs were promising, as they vowed to make the best of it and get along. However, things soon took a turn for the worst. When he’s not upsetting the Nolan sister, Jim has been on good form. As you might expect from a 60-year-old comedian, Jim knows a joke about everything. He also knows a ridiculous amount of trivia, which can be useful as the housemates fill the hours between tasks and evictions.

Lee:

Celebrity Big Brother is often described as an emotional rollercoaster, and this has been the case for no-one more than Lee. Hand-cuffed to Casey, he quickly bonded with the Page 3 stunner, and shared a kiss on Day 2. However, his real feelings are for Jasmine and soon enough they were in a UFO and locking themselves in the bathroom. On Day 6, Lee thought he and Casey had been evicted, and he was gutted to be booed by the CBB crowd. However, they hadn’t been evicted at all, they’d been voted into the Bolt Hole. There, Lee proved that sorry really isn’t the hardest word at all. He said it about 50 times, and Casey agreed to forgive him. Day 8 saw a huge twist as Lee and Casey had to choose the first housemate to leave the House. It was Evander or Luisa, which was easy enough for Lee. Luisa’s a friend of his, so it was goodbye to the champ.

So that's five down, six to go. See part two a bit later on.

Day 10: The story so far - part two

We’re on Day 10, so how are the housemates doing so far? Here’s our guide to each celebrity’s first ten days in the House. Part two; Linda, Lionel, Liz, Luisa, Ollie and Sam. It's all a bit too much...

Linda:

For Linda, there’s really just one problem and it’s a 60-year-old comedian from South London. She entered the House handcuffed to Jim, but even after they were released, there’s been no escape. It’s fair to say everything he does annoys her, even his cooking. On Day 9, they found themselves arguing about how many onions were left. This one could run and run.

Lionel:

If the first ten days of CBB have taught us anything, it’s that Lionel loves to dance. And we mean a lot. The man’s a dancing machine, and no opportunity to do a little twirl is missed. His highlight so far has been his cross-generational bromance with Ollie, but he’s found time to share his many showbiz anecdotes with everyone. Jasmine’s opening night antics didn’t impress Lionel one little bit, but since then he’s regularly reminded himself and indeed everyone else that it’s all just a game.

Liz:

After an uncomfortable start, Liz has gently worked her way into the affections of her fellow housemates. She was initially hand-cuffed to Dappy, but quickly released at the behest of Jim and Linda. Her early claims that her job as a journalist is to be controversial didn’t go down at all well in a room full of celebrities, but since then she’s grown in confidence and started to have some fun. Long may it continue.

Luisa:

Self-confidence has never been an issue for Luisa, and she’s been right in amongst it from the start. On Day 1 she took over cooking duties and warned the others not to interfere, and on Day 2 she was in the hot tub, flirting with Dappy and kissing Jasmine. It’s not all been flirtatious fun though. She and Dappy have since fallen out in a big way, and Jim reduced her to tears by telling her to stop being so argumentative.

Ollie:

Ollie has assumed the role of all-round nice guy, everybody’s friend. His lowest moment was when he thought the British public had voted him the Most Fake Housemate, so you can imagine his relief when Lee and Casey admitted it had been their decision and they were only joking. Other than that, Ollie has waltzed through the first ten days, conditioning his eye-lashes here, forgetting to self-tan his ears there. He’s admitted to having feelings for Sam, but he’s taking that very slowly indeed.

Sam:

Sam has also carefully avoided conflict, coping admirably while hand-cuffed to a slightly tipsy Jasmine. She’s also bonded with Linda in particular, and found herself the object of Ollie’s (so far) unrequited affections. Sam has enjoyed the company of her fellow celebrities, listening intently as the older housemates share their many showbiz tales. Things livened up for her on Day 9, when she was given a special mission to stir things up. She took to this with aplomb, accusing Luisa and Jasmine of talking about her behind her back and pretending to have feelings for Ollie. Good stuff.

Split into two teams earlier today, housemates became The Knights and The Ninnyhammers.  Big Brother asked the gang to get involved in some LARPing – that's Live Action Role Playing for the unitiated.

Lionel became the captain of the Knights, ruling over Luisa, Liz, Linda, Ollie and Casey whilst Dappy was crowned leader of The Ninnyhammers, with power over Jasmine, Jim, Lee and Sam.

The games began – the first two seeing them going to head-to-head to win lifelines that would prepare them for the final challenge – The Joust.

Game one - The Beast – saw old adversaries Luisa and Dappy pursued by a terrifying monster (a dog in a lion's mane), wearing a tail made from sausages. Dappy lost his sausage first (no laughing at the back), so Luisa earned a lifeline for The Knights.

The second game – Magic Potions – involved Lionel, Linda and Ollie for The Knights and Jim, Jasmine and Sam competing to make an impressive elixir. The Knights' potion was simply amazing, meaning  they won themselves yet another lifeline.

Soon it was time for the ultimate challenge – The Joust. Lee led The Ninnyhammers for this one, facing off against Casey the Knight. Taking it in turns to push jousting poles through a wall, they tried to dislodge their opponent from the other side. With two lifelines in the bank, Casey was able to get hit twice and remain in the game. Lee was without a lifeline and would be out the moment he was struck.

Casey took two blows from the Blue Ninnyhammer and it all came down to the final strike. Casey was in there first with the killer blow so the crown went to the Knights as the games wound down.

Where there's LARP there are larks... and as the sun set, the Knights were alright.
