12.55am: Jim is out of bed. It looks like he's struggling to sleep in the bedroom.

1.13am: Lights are out and only Luisa and Jasmine appear to be fighting sleep

1.30am: The land of nod is full of housemates

1.46am: Housemates are well into their first REM sleep cycle of the night. We estimate that Linda is dreaming of chimps.

1.58am: With snores in our ears, we bid you g'night, ! See you in the morning and, please... don't have nightmares...

Day 9 round-up: Rated unsuitable for housemates

Day 9 was the day after Evander Holyfield left the Celebrity Big Brother House. On top of that, Lee and Casey rejoined the action after a period of sitting in the Bolt Hole, away from all the action but looking on throughout.

Mr. Ryan kicked off his day by agreeing with Dappy that they both need to watch their capacity for creating drama. Eager viewers may have noticed that the pair have been central to a couple of upsets in the House and may welcome this news. Elsewhere in the House, Ollie was groomed by Sam (though it could be said she tore strips off him).

A task soon surfaced and Essex's finest, the fragrant Ms. Faiers was recruited by Big Brother to tell a few porkies around the place. She kicked it off by confessing her love to Ollie, but he wasn't completely buying her declaration. She stirred things up further by commenting on Liz's dress sense and, in a dangerous game, starting a fall-out between Jasmine, Casey and Luisa.

And if that solo secret mission wasn't enough, Big Brother brought more chaos, landing The 18 Certificate Task on housemates, which involved half of our pals wandering into one task room to make content for kids whilst the others went off and did something slightly different. For now, all we'll say is that some HMs look better in PVC than others... and some HMs are unlikely to ever appear on children's TV.

But hey – they passed the task! Huzzah!

A jam-packed day, filled with chaos – and, oh look! Here comes Day 10, before you can even catch your breath

8.15am: Good morning, all. It's a bit sleepy in the House, with Luisa and Jasmine the first to stir

8.35am: Looks like last night's task is taking quite a lot of sleeping off. And with Evander's snoring gone, it's silent in there

8.52am: Still not a peep in the Big Brother bedroom. Ollie's hair has formed a delightful pyramid on the pillow though.

MrsH

9.07am: The housemates continue to dream of simpler, happier times.

9.09am: Ollie just fixed his hair in his sleep. We're both awed and terrified by this supernatural ability

9.30am: The lights are on. Jim's put sunglasses on. "OHHHHHHHHHHHH DEAR," he shouts.

9.40am: Lionel and Jim are in the kitchen, wearing matching dressing gowns. Cute

9.43am: Last night really was a bit special. Linda just woke up and said "I can't find my eyes!"

9.50am: The HMs just sang a deeply ironic version of All Things Bright And Beautiful. Lee's realised he still has eye-liner on.

9.55am: Luisa is doing a range of voices, from baby to puppy to cartoon character to Macy Gray. Someone get Disney on the phone.

MrsH

10.47am: Ollie just asked for the eye-lash conditioner. Is that a real thing?

11.08am: The beauty regimes are in full flow and those mirrors are really earning their keep

11.15am: Sam says she hopes giving and temporary control of her Twitter account was a good idea

11.25am: Talking of Twitter, just admitted she's not following . Awkward.

11.35am: Big Brother has closed the garden. "Oh, Evander's gone outside for a walk, he's coming back!" - says Ollie

11.47am: The HMs are discussing World War 3. Jim continues to be a font of wisdom; "Nuclear weapons really do go bang."

MrsH

12.03pm: While the garden's off limits, the HMs are having some tea on the sofas. It's all very civilized

12.16pm: The HMs are receiving their instructions for today's task and it sounds like a whole lot of fun. Watch this space

12.28pm: Task captains Lionel and Dappy are picking their teams. "It's like being back at school" notes Liz. Yep

12.39pm: The HMs are dressing up for the task. Lee: "My ears aren't the same size. I'm not symmetrical!" Poor Lee

12.46pm: Ollie is now dressed as a medieval king. "I prefer this to bondage" he says. Well, that's good to know

Day 10: When nature calls

Lee's certainly had a wild and tumultuous time in the house, and last night's 18-rated task was no exception. But this morning brought an altogether more serene moment for Lee as - no joke - a real-life, straight-from-actual-nature butterfly landed on his hand.

He was surprised at first ("Why is there a butterfly in the House? It's not the butterfly season.") but was soon, as you might expect, overwhelmed by childlike wonder. After the colourful bug - a Red Admiral, if the internet can be trusted) decided to spread its wings and fly away, Lee chased it around the House, a massive grin plastered across his happy face.

Altogether now: awww!

Day 10: Task - It'll Be Alright on the Knight

For today's task, the housemates are going to get Medieval on us, and join the fantastical world of Live Action Roleplaying (or LARPing).

They'll be split into two armies: Lionel's noble Knights, and Dappy's evil Ninnyhammers. After the captains have picked their teams (it's like school again!) they'll be dressed up in all manner of fantasy finery and pitted against each other in two fiendish tasks, to earn lifelines for the final showdown - The Joust.

The winning team will be treated to a fabulous reward.

Who do you think will win - the Knights or the Ninnyhammers?
