Both Jim and Linda put themselves between Luisa/Dappy arguing.

I'd have to stop them if it had been going on and on and affecting the majority in the house.

How dare they scream and shout and rant for ages.  It's not their space only.

TBF, I'd be saying the same if I was sitting listen to that show all day.

Sometimes it's not what you say it's how you say it . Banging on the table telling someone to 'shut it' never works.

Remind me how, Supes?

He brought the subject up again, at the table, presumably some time after what had been said outside

I checked back and Luisa brought up the OAP comment, not Jim, when she was attempting to explain that people don't get her 'personality'.

He wasn't really banging on the table and he never said shut it. He rapped on the table and said 'Haven't you had enough arguments for today?'

Before that Jim said something like: do you not think about the impact of what you say/your soh

That's what I've been saying on another thread, it wasn't just Jim involved.

Because wasn't Luisa saying something prior to that about 'that's just the way I am' (as in, she says what she thinks regardless)

That was in response to her comment about getting all the boos. I thought it was a fair question.

He said that to her because she had said she was worried about the booing, and people not liking her and the effect on her businesses.   Jim said 'have you ever wondered why that might be?'   She said 'because people don't get my personality' and he said 'you need to think about what you say before you open your mouth'   or words to that effect.
