Well my little "Elwood" passed on to the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago...sniff!

However welcome "Jake" a baby Syrian hammy 7 weeks old.he's a bit like a golden Hammy in colouring.As in rusty brown back ,black cheek flashes and cream underbelly.
I'll tame hm soon.he's abit jittery ,to be expected..

Hello Jake!

I took the school hamster home once, during the holidays....my Mam was scared of it...then my Dad thought I'd killed it (I hadn't I took good care of it!) and stuck it on a towel on the radiator to bring it back to life...it was only asleep! Tsk! It lasted another 2 years or so after that

Aw Ta Cologne,I just thought,we have a triple decker cage and all the stuff,and food etc....oh Sigh! A little hammy only costs £9.00

My niece was 23 years old on Friday,we bought our first hammy for her 10th birthday! .Jake is our sixth bundle,

Ahh ,Leccy they sleep most of the daytime.This one so far wakes up about 10.00pm then goes mad on the wheel! He's on it now as I type..

Allen sleeps 24/7 and has moved his bed and his food to his exercise ball, I have to drag him out to exercise around the living room....
