J.J. Bird, the boxer, does not appear to have had a fight since April 2009.
There is now a website
http://jjbird.co.uk/default.aspx
which is designed to keep us up-to-date with JJs latest activities.
However, at the moment there seems to be very little happening.

As a Big Brother contestant, this may have been his finest hour:-

He is quoted as saying his aim is either to be a professional boxer
or a television presenter.
(Perhaps he should improve his abilities in both these areas.)

from those pics it looks like JJ is now quite a bit over his fighting weight. I would quess that he fights at Super featherweight, goes away to check----bloody hell he's a light middle (154lbs at weigh in) he looks way smaller than me, must be taller than I assumed he was!

That would explain it, most light middleweights are 5' 10" or thereabouts!
