Actually her odds were a lot shorter a few weeks ago, she was actually favourite to win for a little while but now she's dropped away, with Josie as favourite to win.  I think the bookies have got it badly wrong and it won't be long before Corin's odds shorten again.  Seriously, if you're going to bet on someone, now is the time to do it.

When it's more apparent who the winner could be you don't win as much though.

It's actually more sense to back the outsider in the early days for just a few quid and hope they end up being fab...if you wait to see who really IS a good HM you don't win as much, presuming you do win, that is.
