She was sooooo apologetic, I kind of felt sorry for her.
But as I explained, it's not just me, it's all the other patients who got messed about, and an operating theatre that didn't get used today. And wouldn't it have been cheaper all round to send a 4x4 taxi to get him to work?

That's an excellent point and I really hope he's made to understand the amount of public money he has wasted because he couldn't get his car out of the drive
