I know you've probably discussed this to death, but I had to hold back till now, but out of the the 2 shows BGT or The Voice, The Voice is my fave!. It is so much more polished, engaging, makes The X Factor look rubbish. Don't get me wrong I love BGT, but it can't last the legs that The Voice will have, plus I can't stand Alesha, her laugh makes me want to smash my TV in, and she is soooo fake! I think the coaches on TV actually care about their acts and want them to do well, and aren't in it just for the money ( Simon Cowell). Love it!!!!!

I don't watch either so I have no idea if one is better than the other. I just wish we had more quality drama and documentaries on tv rather than all these shows
Well - I'll reserve judgement - we've not seen the next stage yet. What is the format? do we vote off each week? I haven't read up on it.
I'll give you another reason why it's better, I never watch singing competitions on TV, they are all so fake, and badly put together, I only meant to watch The Voice for about 10 minutes on the 1st night, because there had been so much hype written about it, and it got me hooked straight away, and that takes some doing!. At least the contestants can all sing, and sing very well at that, not joke singers, and I love the banter between the coaches. No nasty comments, they at least respect each other.

I wish they'd bring back Fame Academy.
I've no idea myself about what happens next, I think we will have to vote off who we don't want, but I know this, this show has been a smash in every country that has aired it, in fact in Denmark where it originates from by Endermol no least, on the final week, the last 10 acts each were in their countries top ten in the charts with their own songs.
