but how did you get it to sync without it wiping off everything thats already on there Pirate? I don't want to download anything, I just want to move it.

 

tbh ... a rummage round the internet confirms what I'm finding, it's too flipping complicated (I did just search for 'how the f*** do I transfer music from itunes on my pc to my ipad!!!)

Rexi is the lappy the computer you usually sync it to? or do you normally plug it into a different one?

well, I think I've done something ... some songs are now on the iPad, although they are appearing in all sorts of random playlists.

 

I'm going out now ... it is my turn to drive but, on hearing of my afternoon's experiences, my friend say she will!!

I find it best not to mix them up. I use my iPod in conjunction with the PC which holds all the music. I don't know how much memory an iPad has but I know I could only get a small percentage of my music on my phone.

 

 

 

 

Rexi, Have you sorted out your problem. I am a Mac user of some years now and have had a number of iPods. I've used my iPods on both my Mac and PC's without any issues - although I do think that it can be frustrating if things go awry.
