We had chinese last night...I had BBQ spare ribs with egg fried rice & plain noodles...very yummmy it was too!..
Eldests G/F had duck..

tell me... what type of containers does your chinese come in? mine come in see through plastic ones. they used to come in silver foil containers with a white lid

Mine have gone all see through plastic aswell. A good old fashioned Indian takeaway still comes in the silver foil containers though, wouldn't be the same if it didn't!

I did like the traditional containers! Would love for chinese to come in the white boxes like they do in america

Our Chinese Takeaways serve the rice in the foil tubs with white lids and everything else comes in those clear plastic tubs.

both Indian and Chinese have gone to various sized plastic containers round here now 

handy for re-using though

next question.... your favourite sauce? sweet and sour or black bean or Hoi Sin?

Sweet and sour for me.

ribs coated in sweet and sour sauce is lush!

I've only eaten the ribs in barbeque sauce, I might try them in sweet and sour, Chicken.

Some of the sweet n sour can be too sweet (like if it's got honey in it). BBQ all the way baby!

No, we don't get fortune cookies. We do get free prawn crackers because it's usually a big order.

prawn crackers are sooo gooood! we always get an extra bag

My hubby and sons order Indian Takeways quite often, so they send us a Christmas card.

Never had an indian takeaway , chinese all the way!!

But I had a Chinese on NY eve, I had Beefs chow mein and beef curry with beef friend rice. Yummy!!
The  rice always comes in silver containers, the other dishes in the see-thru plastic containers.
