Well I slept reasonably well, but woke up about 5.15 when a combine harvester or some other farm machinery went past our house, and that was it, I've had to get up. Now I've got to occupy the next 3 hours before we go to school.

I got to sleep after a couple of hours of trying.....and practically sat bolt upright this morning around 5:30. It's normally a snooze button fest before I get up, but there was none of that today!

And it's no good people telling me that there's no point in worrying, as it won't change anything, I can't help it. As a parent, worrying is what I seem to do best!!

The UCAS site is back online......but too many people ae trying to use it, so he can't get any info yet. It's going to be a hell of a morning!
well... she got into Edexel & got her maths grade.. 5 marks off the A*... she got an A.
Soooo... its looking like she probably didn't get her offer... but she seems remarkably relieved about it... saying she has been having some serious second thoughts about Chem Engineering anyway...
Its taken the pressure off I suppose!

Yes.. I think so too.
FGS she got an A, in maths A Level.. I don't care what the uni wanted.. I still think she's done bloody well to get that (considering she missed a whole term last year, and struggled the rest of the year, relapsing every 5 mins).

I want my daughter to PHONE for the rest of her results, but she won't. I am at work, so I can't twist her arm persuade her!

Her boy has got his offer.. so is off to Hull!
She's swamped at work apparently... and I will let her come in later with details of his results... just wanted to let you all know the happy Duck news!
