It's been made FAR worse because I've been at work today and basically wallowed in the whole A Level stress from the teachers point of view.

We get the results a day early.....so I've spent all afternoon checking the students results, comparing them with what they need to get for uni....and then making a list of those students who missed out.

It's really awful ...because I'm sat here with a list of 13 names. 13 students who are at this moment sat at home worrying and hoping....and I know what's in store for them tomorrow.

I think its a cow costume Karms..

and she really did find it down the back of the sofa, in the apartment her & her friends had rented in Barcelona for a week..   the owner left a lot of his clobber in the place..   i

including the cow costume

Though... if I found an adult babygrow with a tail... I too would want one!

Oh Ducky that's awful - I can't help having this horrible feeling that my son's teachers have his name on the same type of list.  I feel really sick like you - I know how awful it was for us 2 years ago and am dreading the same all over again. I just want the next 12 hours or so to be over, good or bad it's the waiting and wondering that is doing me in.

Were the results at your school what you were expecting, better or worse?

I still want it! I think it's ace! And I would put the rubbish out in it with pride despite what my (level headed) neighbours think!

Actually, I've got 2 out 3 over 30, and there isn't a lot of peace and tranquility goin' on here.

Whaaat?! I've got a countdown calender here and everyfing preparing to celebrate my freedom and my ohm and my chakra and all sorts....and you tell me THIS?

Ducky, I see your hyperventilation and I raise you spontaneous combustion

It could be a lot worse

Those 13 are the ones who missed out completely. There are many others who got their second choice only.....and for some that can be just as distressing! (teenagers don't seem to really get the idea that their insurance choice needs to be somewhere they are willing to go )

No 2 son is awaiting his results and to say it's like the whole house is sitting on a time bomb would be an understatement!!

Very sensibly No 1 son has decided to choose this week to go abroad on holiday with his mates.

So, how are you coping, Ditty, Ducky, and anyone else going through this?

Daughter getting her A levels results tomorrow, she seems quite relaxed

He did the same thing during the exams....then when the pressure was off he was up for it again. The silly sod

Good luck to all the students and parents tomorrow - I hope yo get the results you're hoping for

 -

Mine are all passed that now but as Lori said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ it really don't stop there . There really is always something to worry about ..............actually - I look back and think - the exam results were pretty tame in the grand scale of things.

Hope all goes well tomorrow!
