Isn't it odd that what we feel about housemates is often very different from the housemates' opinions.
Often in the Davina eviction interviews the interviewee mentions a name and the crowd boo and jeer, while the interviewee looks amazed!
I feel the housemates are now sharing a mixture of "how on earth can we get Dave out"  and "Dave keeps escaping eviction so he must be popular with the viewers."
He may be popular with some viewers. But he becomes increasingly unpopular with many others.

It has shown itself in every BB series - this discrepancy between what the housemates think and what the viewers think.

I am not forgetting the power of the editor.

I dont think the HMS really knows what goes on the Biatching behind closed doors so to speak ,take for instance Dave he is playing a very clever game he hugs them all and tells them how much he loves them, they all think he is he is top man when Ben and Rachel had their interview and was asked who they wanted to win they both said Dave they dont see what we see on our telly screens

We see more than them, on LF anyway!
But not in enough numbers to make a difference sadly...the bulk of voters are just watching the highlights and base their preferences on that. Those that I speak to like JJ and Josie and think Dave is OK simply because they do not know that half of what they get up to.

LF shows us more in that we see what one person is saying about the other. BUT they are in there 24/7 and have access to a lot more than we do - even on LF. And isn't that it? We all present a face to the world that we edit to suit the company we're in? They are doing that in there but we are seeing the different faces and finding fault - when by and large it's something we all do anyway.

It's not compulsory.

I don't watch any LF either BUT I know plenty of people here and elsewhere who do and so I am influenced by their comment and interpretation on LF events that never make the highlights. Not everyone, I tend to know whose opinion will probably reflect my own (Katerina for example). The people I identified in my last post only have access to LF - they don't lurk online etc - and so their opinions are based solely on that.
