i'm in county durham, i believe that the dales area further inland have had snow already but it's our first falling nearer the coast

lol well i'm a southerner living in the north, and i'm heading down there for a visit on friday so i'll be happy to pack a case of snow and bring it down with me if anyone requests it!

I like it at the weekends (snow) when I can go in it in my own time but not during the week when I have to trudge to work in it, the kids are off school and my husband can barely work (and being self employed that snow joke!)

We have a dusting of snow this morning too.

Keep it up North I say!!  Here in the Midlands it is sunny but freezing cold, had to de ice the car for the first time this year this morning and had forgotten how much fun that is.. then my heater wouldn't work for a bit and I was frozen in my car.  Thankfully it is now working thanks to Mr Pink and all is well. 

Like you Croc, I'm really hoping it doesn't snow as Mr Pink is self employed and if it snows he is NOT going out in it this year and risking an 07 reg car, end of!!!

Alas, no snow for us again i absolutely love the snow. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a white christmas *closes eyes and wishes reallllly hard*

Spare a thought for those of us for whom snow is a near disaster, Sorry to sound like a misery but I am really worried

I have a month to pack up the family home and arrange storage for my stuff as well as sorting out younger daughter's stuff who is at uni. I live 15 miles away  in a fairly rural area and because of my job can only get there at the weekends, We have 20 plus years of stuff to sort out, Plus the garden . Every weekend counts - ex is in Lincoln and comes down at the weekends to ferry stuff to the dump etc. If I lose this weekend I have no idea how we are going to get it all done to be honest... and there is Xmas coming up as well

Then there is the fact I have patients to visit in the community - a round trip of 40 miles. Again if the snow is heavy I won't be able to get there which is a disaster as well.

No snow here yet..... but it is very cold.... I used to like the snow, and still like looking at it, but as I get older I get more worried about having to walk about in it..... so bought some wellies this year

its started snowing... big ole fat snow

We've had snow on and off from dinnertime, but it only started to lie about four (ish) and at one point had hooooge big hailstones

I've just bought some too Baz at dinnertime

Ohhhh, that reminds me - I want to buy some funky wellies this year, am fed up with my green ones

now its stopped n slushy.. yuk

Mine are just plain green. Anything that keeps me feet dry
