I stayed up to watch it but got bloody caught up in something else, I've been waiting for it for months aswell! Saw most of the red carpet stuff, did NOT like SJP's gold lampshade dress, LOVED Sandra Bullocks dress but didn't like her hair colour and she had far too much make up on and I think Sigourney Weaver looked stunning.

Not surprised at Bullock winning, nor Jeff Bridges. Am glad Precious got recognition, have to see that film now have heard loads about it.

But good that there were a few surprises in there

It's just said on gmtv that the nominee's that dont win get a £60,000 goodie bag.......
Makes you wonder what the winner get's eh.......

Liver, I think Avatar won three - for cinematography, visual effects and art direction.

The Hurt Locker was a deserving winner for best film, none of the ten nominated made my top 10 of 2009 though


From the ten nominees the films i didnt like were Avatar and Precious.  Inglourious Basterds was good but very overrated


Sandra Bullock was good in The Blind Side but there is no way she should have won the oscar especially after the amount of crap she has done over the years


Carey Mulligan was the best of a very weak best actress category


Cristolph Waltz was a deserving winner but my choice for the win was Woody Harrelson for The Messenger

Have you seen it? I found it very ordinary. I did enjoy "An Education" though.

I thought it was deserving of what was nominated, but then i didnt really care what won really as none of them were in my own top 10 of the year

Angela Griffin, UK soap/drama actress. She did the Golden Globes for Sky aswell.

I was more concerned at the front of her hair, it was like an alien had hatched from her crown.

I saw most of the 'best bits' show that was on earlier. Sandra Bullock's dress was just amazing (I've already said this) but she was too pale in the face and I didn't like the hair.
Cameron Diaz looked ok, but I felt she was too tall to pull off the look and should have worn a stremlined dress instead. Jennifer Lopez looked stunning (bitch), but what the hell was Barbra Streisand wearing? I adore the Streisand but blimmin eck she looked like she was going to manage her local Tescos store, not the Oscars

Kathryn Begalow looked great aswell, and dare I say, a hell of a lot more alive than James Cameron's current wife
