There was a tradition of some regular posters disappearing during BB. I don't know if that applies now!

I agree Sooz,  I've had to join Digital Spy for my BB chatter now, as this place is basically a ghost town.  Quite liking it over there btw, it reminds me of the old BB General Board on the Channel 4 forums.  I still pop in here most days to see what people are saying but sadly it's not much.

i have to say people like erin scotty and velvet have been doing a great job keeping us up to date with whats happening in the house  and i thank them for that. plus i just wouldnt go anywhere else this is what i know and love however small it gets but i understand what you saying soozy.

I agree with JAF ... Plus I think part of the apparent *quietness* comes from the fact that we have a Main programme threads now , where FMs comment , instead of lots of smaller threads .

Soozy this is the first year ever I've not watched BB ~ hence I can't really comment on here.

It's not that I've gone elsewhere, just that I'm dealing with some heavy stuff in real life.

I will be back tho ~ this is my second home

I agree with you soozy....I don't post much, even after 6 or 7 years I still don't feel I fit in!!...but I still check in several times a day, and would miss not reading all the posts and seeing all the familiar faces (names). .I could do a list but might miss someone out so I won't...

Exactly Stonks. I use DS as well now, but only because of the lack of LF.

like aquarian this is the first bb i have not watched (apart from series 1)  seeing the reports that the hm's were of a similar ilk i made a conscious decision not to watch

Im not watching it this year so cant really join in as much. I did try to watch it. Celeb bb this year got me hooked but i just cant get into this.

gyps... you might get into it if you could just.... for say.. five minutes....

I'd say this  ^^^^ is probably partly to do with it plus lack of anything else to talk about other than the HL shows and the odd bit of 'news' C5 lets out thru the day..

 

for me I prefer to watch a show and concentrate on it. .can't post as well if it means I have to read other posts [or what's the point in posting], watch the box and post too...and am not keen on being online later at night when I've settled in for a night of TV watching and am snuggled up and comfy..  

I'm not really watching it this year either, and what I have seen makes me cringe or angry, so I have nothing valuable to post about it. I do talk a lot though so I'm happy to post about anything & everything

lack of live feed has probalby been the main cause as only the die hard bb fans are still watching the show, i gave up a couple of weeks ago, it's SHITE

I find this place a bit on the slow side with regard to Big Bro ..... If you want up to date stuff you really want to be over at DS but be warned: they are not the friendliest bunch ... enter at your own peril
