I wrapped a present today

I've nearly finished getting my presents  

I wrote my cards today  my new tree is in Leeds thanks to my daughter

Lil AIms ordered it me off eBay and put her uni address instead of home

Oh i am such a dunder-head

One of my daughters is dreading it this year. She doesn't want Santa in the house and she's prepared to forgo her presents. She says she can't understand how we'd encourage a stranger to roam around our house AT NIGHT while we're ASLEEP.

I've assured her that Santa is not a stranger to me or her father, and that I will personally guarantee checking his credentials (CRB etc.) and that her dad will stay up all night to make sure Santa causes no harm and doesn't steal anything.

I managed to say it with a straight face too

They're 5 Saz. Well one of them is, the other one (the one who doesn't want Santa to visit) is more like 55. She's the one I've given up arguing with because I 'test her patience' and 'never get to the point' apparently

PS. Still trying to find out my dad's jobtitle in English. I've had a bit on my plate the last couple of weeks.

Oh and I've just spent £30 on a few tree baubles and some such from John Lewis.
