Oh and she shares a birthday with Syd... that's not to be sniffed at.
8.34? that was fast - she'll be home for her tea....
Very nice, always good to have one of each.
So now everyone related will have to shuffle down the next in line list.
I like to imagine it to music, rather like the conga.
Doubt if the Queen will look at "Not on the High Street" site
Congratulations to William and Kate and welcome to the new baby.

You never know
Apparently she uses tupperware at Buckingham palace to keep her cereals in!

If it were the olden days that would not be a problem, they were not shy at "removing" obstacles to the throne.

Congratulations Kate and William .
two celebs have a baby. So what!
These aren't just 'ordinary' celebs though Carnelian
However, I'm kind of in agreement with you. Yes, they've had a baby, now let's let it die down
After all, it's not like most of us are ever gonna see her come to the throne
I'll have to avoid tv and radio now, the Diana factor is being chewed over and regurgitated already. It will only get worse as the baby grows up.
Poor kid.
Not fussed by the news,I'm not a royalist.

I think the news coverage is being squeezed by the election somewhat. There may in the future be the odd programme, but fortunately we are not getting wall to wall coverage.
Mildred, I vote for Mildred.
It's a very regal name.

Just in case anyone's interested...
I had a quick look on Betfair, and the betting on the baby's name is:
Alice: 2/1,
Charlotte: 11/4,
Victoria: 5/1,
Elizabeth: 6/1,
Olivia: 6/1,
Alexandra: 10/1,
Diana: 10/1,
Mary: 12/1,
Grace: 20/1
All others: 33/1 or greater.
(If you fancy a flutter, please note that some bookies are offering much better odds on some of these names, especially Alexandra and Diana.)
I would be very, very, very, very, very surprised if the name Diana does not feature somewhere in the name. Especially as they did not have the chance last time.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, I'm glad Diana has been included

Oooh ta Yellow Rose.
Charlotte is lovely and the two middle names honour both paternal grandmother and great-grandmother.

and Charlotte is the female version of Charles so paternal grandfather.

I think that it's an appropriate nod to her granny that it's the last part of her name rather than the 1st. part.

I like all the names. Just heard the bookies have had to pay out a million pounds, sometimes I wish I could be bothered to have a bet on something lol
Wasn't Charlotte some thing/one to do with the queen mum?

I agree, Diana as a first name could have been a burden to the little one

Oh yeah! And I just remembered the Queen Mum was Elizabeth also!
Queen Charlotte was King George 3rd's consort.
