Mum and dad are on holiday and have just rang to say they haven't been able to live the hotel today because of the weather, the mother isn't happy

We have had hail and rain all day....I just went from car to front door...even my undies are soaked
Maybe I should have got dressed first
its truly horrible here...
Buttercup is hard though... all the other chickens have the sense to find shelter... not him... he still likes to strutt his stuff, (& attack my legs), and basically give it the large... rain or shine!
I have to go & put them away in a couple of hours...

One of the hens (not his hens... the normal full size hens) had to put him in his place today... when he tried to take food out of the mouths of one of the chicks!
He wasn't happy... he went back in his little henhouse & got all rapey with one of his wimmin !

We do need it i can just see my mum glaring at my dad though
I've cheered myself up in the rain. My lovely cherry blossom is in full bloom, and we never took the lights down that we put on it all bare at Christmas. So I've switched them back on tonight

The weather's definitely going nuts. Last year's autumn was so dry right up till mid November and so were the early months of this year. Now it's raining every day.
