I must say that at first I was surprised that he did not take full advantage of the champagne, scents, and romantic setting.
Yet maybe like me he wondered who would be steering the barge while him and Martha did the deed so to speak.

Ahhh, but Martha makes her leek and potato soup from scratch, instead of opening a tin, so that's alright then.

she could be the next Marks and Spencers advert how she uses her secsy voice to make it sound like heaven in a bowl
poor raspy Deirdre - i think she finds his letter too to add insult to injury... I thought Ken mighta went off for a while with his real life wife dying suddenly not so long ago, thought the show's producers would have wrote him out for bit
What a weak excuse for a man he is - they're both well shot of him!

It's filmed weeks and weeks in advance - maybe that's exactly what they have done.
I missed it

but he hasnt gone with her? so i'd assume he'd be back to Deirdre to deal with the fall out with her finding his 'dear john' letter?
Oh Kelly (morning!!) - Ken left Deirdre with a letter and went to Martha's boat - she thought he was coming with her to Tamworth (errr yeah!) forever and ever but he skulked off the boat and stood on the bridge looking at her...
Ah, right MM - I didn't see it last night but I assumed he'd cleared off with Martha

Peanuts compared to the likes of Ronaldo. They earn that in a week. Ken entertains me more. You could never call him boring.
he is a weak lilly livered two faced downright dirty rat

But do you put chives and parmesan ( ) in the scrambled eggs?
Ken storyline is just boring, one millionth affair . Tbh most of Corries storylines are rubbish at the moment and ridiculous and i'm watching only for the sake of a few characters. It picks up when Carla comes back the best character .

Made me snort as well - and I'm in work and not meant to be enjoying myself!
