I could go on, but have recently been chastised for giving more than a yes or no answer.

I think Noirin, clever girl that she is, is simply picking up on the hints dropped to her in the DR. She always goes to the DR before she makes her moves and her outrage at Tom leaving after she'd set up yet another storyline on their say so was pretty revealing.
