Funny how standards slip through time. I remember Mum coming back from 'afternoon tea' with a neighbour, and she was because her cups didn't match her saucers! We carried on doing that to her for years, until mugs were invented

oh don't talk...my ex mother in law thought i was  the harlot from hell because my bedroom nets didn't match my downstairs ones      (not an euphemism btw )

i used to stay in her house when she went away on holiday and many a time i would trip over a scowling biddy scrubbing the front step , as i was letting standards slip by not doing it myself every day

but what if its my choice to do it! nowt wrong in that either is there? Some like me CHOOSE to be like it and sometimes I feel people forget that there are women out there who choose and are not put upon to do it
Fair enough, but even people who choose to do it should still have more to them than just being great with a can of Pledge. I work, but don't define myself as a person by how good I am at my job.

Yep I like a nice clean loo me PLUS if someone else does it i will find fault in it. Slightly OCD but if you want  a job doing right do it yourself. *gets out antibac wipes*

And my 2 sons are getting schooled in laundry, packing away, hoovering and cooking...so when they find a mate they can look after themselves while she's breaking balls at the office
Which means they won't grow up like JJ and have a panic attack about cheese that hasn't been pre-grated, or jars that don't open themselves
What sort of catch for any woman is he? Well done, JJ's mum, for making sure he can't look after himself, and will always need some overworked mug to do it all for him.
