I don't think little kids should be taught anything to make them think their bodies are something shameful. As long as they are being supervised, where's the harm?

That reminds me of when we were on holiday in Woolacombe one year. My daughter was about 4 at the time and playing next to us in a rock pool with a load of other kids.
I was sat chatting to my Mum.
My daughter came over and said she needed the loo. I told her to just sit down in the water and do it (thinking she meant a wee)
I heard someone say "Oh my God" and turned to see my daughter had stripped and was curling one out right there.
My Mum and I sat frozen to the spot as parents came rushing over to get their kids.
We made her Dad go over and get her and he had to dig a hole and bury the poo Laugh Laugh

Anyways there was these 2 women sitting on a bench watching their kids playing on the park. Then when I looked I noticed one of the kids (the girl) was fully naked running around on the park. She was 3 maybe 4 at the most.

Now I thought this was disgraceful, not because I thought the mother couldn't afford clothes or anything like that, but purely because any old paedo could be knocking about among the nearby trees having a good spy, maybe even taking a few pictures and going home for a tug.

I just think it's irresponsible parenting. I don't have any kids and I don't intend to for 10 years at least, but I would never let any kid of mine do this.

In my workplace experience the true childcare experts were always the ones without children. We had a gifted trio of 50+ unmarried blokes. How I loved to listen to their lectures on where we were going wrong.

Well people shouldnt really be spying through peoples windows should they? It is her house!

This is a large bay window with no curtains and the child standing on a table. No need to spy, though thanks for implying that I look in other peoples windows. Roll Eyes

It never fails to surprise me how many people on here are outraged by stories like this but if someone posts a baby/kid pic on here they coo over it. Never mentioning that it could be viewed/saved by a paedo.

Kids get naked. They like it. Why make them feel like it's a bad thing? All this "just in case" is what's spoilt this country.

Don't let them play naked "just in case"
Don't sing ba ba black sheep "just in case"
Don't play conkers "just in case"

Blah blah blah. Let them be innocent kids as long as possible because they grow up soon enough and have enough problems then to deal with Thumbs Up

i think its great that the mother allows her child to be a child and hasnt fallen for the pedo behind every corner hype in the press, we used to go to tghe park and be in and out of the pool there so naked whilst there, girls and boys probably upto the age of 10 or 11.

as to wether we'd let our kids do it? well they do at home from time to time when its hot out and we have no guests or staff around, but not in public, no, we wouldnt.
