Quite right too!!

The innocence of childhood is all too often spoilt by the hang ups of adults.

A kid is more likely to have dodgy pics taken at home than in the park...and anyway even if pics are taken whilst the kid is running round it doesn't actually 'harm' the child...restricting their childhood probably will.

sorry DS, but it isn't about someone attacking them it is about someone maybe taking photos of an innocent child, and getting off on them

yes it's a horrible thought that they would, but what is worse..keeping a child restricted in its behaviour for many years, just in case??

To be perfectly rational about it..the kid wouldn't even suffer from a photo being taken...the parent would....the kid would just suffer more from the parent's paranoia limiting their freedom

Make your own mind up which is worse. Confused

The chances of some weirdo hanging around with a camera that has a decent zoom taking pictures of young girls is very slim to say the least.
Let children be children, they grow up to quickly as it is.

This morning I was walking through a public park to get to where I was going to. It was nice sunny weather.

Anyways there was these 2 women sitting on a bench watching their kids playing on the park. Then when I looked I noticed one of the kids (the girl) was fully naked running around on the park. She was 3 maybe 4 at the most.

Now I thought this was disgraceful, not because I thought the mother couldn't afford clothes or anything like that, but purely because any old paedo could be knocking about among the nearby trees having a good spy, maybe even taking a few pictures and going home for a tug.

I just think it's irresponsible parenting. I don't have any kids and I don't intend to for 10 years at least, but I would never let any kid of mine do this.

Glad someone else shared this experience lmao

My daughter still does it (at home though Laugh) she's 10 now and the minute she gets in from school she strips down to her knickers, even in the winter Laugh

I vividly remember doing a "streak" when I was about three - I was supposed to be getting dressed but I wriggled free, legged it outside and trotted down the street past the neighbours' gardens before my mum caught up with me Laugh

I remember how lovely it felt to have the sunshine and warm breeze on my little nekkid bod. My parents always had trouble getting me to keep my clothes on Big Grin

And now as soon as I get home I HAVE to strip off to my bra and knickers, or put a massive t shirt on, clothes are so restrictive!

Snap! The minute I'm in my house, at the very least, the bra comes off!!!

My oldest always used to run around naked on the beach when he was small....but when he was about 18 months and I turned just in time to see him have a crap right next to a picnicking family at Joss Bay the shame was too much to bear. I pretended he wasn't mine and made my sister go and fetch him back. Ninja

Laugh Laugh Laugh

That reminds me of when we were on holiday in Woolacombe one year. My daughter was about 4 at the time and playing next to us in a rock pool with a load of other kids.
I was sat chatting to my Mum.
My daughter came over and said she needed the loo. I told her to just sit down in the water and do it (thinking she meant a wee)
I heard someone say "Oh my God" and turned to see my daughter had stripped and was curling one out right there.
My Mum and I sat frozen to the spot as parents came rushing over to get their kids.
We made her Dad go over and get her and he had to dig a hole and bury the poo Laugh Laugh
