 I think she has talent, is a born entertainer, and has that certain something that captivates an audience.   But for me she is still just...   meh!

I actually really like her.
She is a character - I think she has more personality than Madonna did at her age and she makes me laugh.
I also like her music.

I like the way she uses surrealism.

I tap my feet thought to some of her songs occasionally, but the girl needs a slap.

Why?

I think she is a great deal cleverer and savvy then people realise TBH.

I wouldn`t buy her albums but she has a talent of sorts. 

I think she can sing but her ott style is a bit too much at times. It detracts from her performance, especially live. I don`t listen properly for gawping.

Yes to a bit of  all your questions brisket. 

I've seen her live, she played a slightly different version of Poker Face on the piano, she put on a great show , sure she's wacky, but there is some talent there.

I think she's great and agree with Issy 

I get the whole 'different persona' thing. When she's on stage, music videos, sure put an act on, you're their to entertain. But when you are getting interviewed don't act like a tool and carry on with your persona.

It would be like an actor still in the character whilst being interviewed. Its unnecessary. Therefore 'slappage' is needed. 

She's okay.But I've only ever seen her perform her polished videos etc.Singing live never.I wouldn't buy any of her stuff.

She doesn't sound bad to me and is getting good reviews.

Plus she uses a good old upright bass in her band.
Anybody who has a string bass can't be all bad.

Her first couple of songs were okay but I'm bored of her now. She's an industry.

I like some of her songs but I long for the days when songs were sold because they were good.  It used to be that a singer was able to carry them because they had a great/good voice and videos merely enhanced the song.

these days it's all about trying to be controversial and lots of acts are manufactured right down to synthetic voices

As much as I adored Sunshine, the fact that she would sing and dance to Lady Gaga songs, without the music, and still be out of time and rhythm was a bit concerning

She's very talented. When she's not being a plebb and its just her and a piano she sounds great. All the encasing herself in an egg and making people wonder if she's a fella and all that shite is completely unnecessary, although I suppose in order to stand out she had to do what she had to do and has to keep that up. Her PR team deserve a helluva lot a buckaroonies .

She still blatantly ripped off Madonna with Born this Way though. If I was Madge I would re-release Express Yourself and watch the race

Express Yourself always makes me think about breast pumps. 

Arrrggh that Telephone video was the most over rated hyped up piece of rubbish of the decade! Great track but her and Beyonce tried way too hard in the video.

And Gaga said on the Grammys last night that she 'wrote' Born this Way with Whitney Houston in mind.

Imelda May and Adele are so much better, I find it to be an affront even to discuss  Lady Gaga.

Lady GaGa has revealed that she gets her musical inspiration from smoking marijuana.

The 'Born This Way' singer explained that she is open and honest about using drugs.

In an interview with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes, she said: "I still smoke a lot of pot when I write music. So I'm not gonna, like, sugar coat it for 60 Minutes that I'm some, like, sober human being, 'cause I'm not."

Despite admitting that she uses cannabis, the 24-year-old insisted that she is not encouraging her fans to start using drugs.

She said: "I don't want to encourage kids to do drugs. But when you asked me about the sociology of fame and what artists do wrong - what artists do wrong is they lie. And I don't lie. I'm not a liar.
