Plus Paul Mcartney does my head in, he too goody two show for my liking.

As goody two shoes as a 1960s and 1970s serial love cheat and regular drug user can be.

Oh yes, S club 7, now that was a band that we will still be singing along to in 50 yrs time. You forgot to mention Hear Say and Girls Aloud too!!!

This thread will start me off now! Add to that aforementioned list 'Spice Girls. Kyle, Dannii,' I'm still thinking....

I know it's frightening to any human being but allegedly Australia has the best cancer treatment in the world, while I wish her well I can only hope she raised an awareness Pooly - otherwise, I know what you mean thousands of women are alone, struggling and unable to have the treatment I'm sure she had (I mean good luck to her on that score) but getting 'real' I reiterate - know what you mean.

urely the whole point is - is that they were the first of a kind for this country back in the sixties. We'd not really had anything as new and innovative before ....it's kind of pointless to say that you dont rate them now as of course it's old hat and has been copied endlessly and there have been numerous covers.

I think they inspired a lot of British musicians ......and yes I love/loved the Beatles.

I never liked the Beatles either. I can still remember my Dad betting my Uncle, who vaguely knew John Lennon, ten shillings that Love me Do would never get in the charts, and that long haired yobbos would never be successful Big Grin

It's strange isn't it?
Having seen all the current adverts er.... documentaries, they weren't long haired at all were they? Not at the Please Please me! stage anyway.
