Could be down the middle?
Probably not.
*Lightbulb moment* It IS if you want it to be.
But if you don't, then it's not.

It is not right that I have started watching Saving Private Ryan and it looks like a war film that I am going to find boring.
And I have eaten my cream cake.
That is not right

It's not all about you.
It was a word that would most probably be deleted by the mods BUT funny none the less.
It was one of those age old off the tongue sayings.
Hope that clears things up for you.

I have to watch the first 30 minutes with my eyes shut.
I know that makes no sense but you'll know what I mean.

Not for me though - its a war film when all is said and done.

I could call you a wuss, but as I've never seen it, I'll reserve judgement I've got it, I just haven't seen it. I tend to buy DVD's when they're cheap and think.......yes, I'll watch that sometime

I am okay with the non bangy bits but I hate the fighting..
I am sort of keeping up but posting and playing on the internet when the gory bits are on.

I thought it was a good film and I 'enjoyed' it if that's the right word.
It's just the opening scenes took me a bit of getting into - I was still wearing my squeamish hat at the time. I doubt I'd have watched it if it weren't for the blokey contingent at Cosi Towers though.
I've got the attention span of a gnat lately. So many films to watch, so little concentration!

Oh Cosi. I'm like that too I've got a load of stuff I should be watching and getting rid of (and that includes video too) But I'd rather be on here posting with you all. I'm gonna have to make a concerted effort though

I loved the Shawshank redemption and the Green Mile so much - I was riveted from beginning to end,
This is another iconic film - I guess I am upset that I am just not getting it.

Brilliant films Issy
Me too Issy. Prefer the books though.
Same here, Sprout.
Me and CosMan are always saying we'll watch a film together when there's no other distractions. Comes the day, and he'll announce that he saw it on a plane coming back from somewhere or another.
I've wasted many an afternoon (pairing socks and pants - that kind of dull got-to-do-it or we'll all be going commando type of necessity) - and all I do is channel hop watching bits of repeats. I really should take that time to watch something properly...like a film.
Issy, I think you have to be in the mood for some types of film.
