Yes and yes....
there is already a FB page dedicated to stopping them.
& if you really want to see why they are doing this then go to their website - islam4uk.com. I found it quite shocking

I really wouldn't want to give them the pleasure of another "hit" on their website to be honest - it really is quite scary that some people can ahrbour so much hate!!
They are best ignored.
well if you're on FB you can look at the letter they have sent: To the Families of British Soldiers who have died or who are currently in Afghanistan.
The FB group is called

NO TO THE PLANNED ISLAM4UK MARCH THROUGH WOOTTON BASSETT
Ahhh crap I just typed out a reply and it didn't load.
Anyway, here's the link to the page about their march: http://www.islam4uk.com/curren...ootton-bassett-march
If my other post doesn't show up, I will try and condense. (I did say try)
My opinion, was reading and to a degree, understanding their plight, then read on and discovered WB was being used to 'celebrate the real war dead', it also went on to say that WB celebrate the lives of our own fallen (including the dismembered ones, their words) who have contributed to the deaths of many.So basically they are purposely choosing WB to piss all over the hundreds of bodies that have been flown back here.
If they were genuine in their plight they could hold the march in London, where they have got all of the media on their doorstep. But by choosing WB, they are not going to get the impartial coverage they hope for. And people wonder why there's a friggin war going on. It's bollocks.

I've just read the link, thanks Karma and I have to say I am disgusted by it. Groups like this show disrespect both to the community of Wootton Bassett, the serviceman and their families (they do not have to refer to them as dismembered, I am sure we all know what sort of condition the bodies are in) and also are showing a huge amount of disrespect to Muslims who just want to live peacefully here and are against what is going on just as much as we are.
I dont think any sort of extremists should be allowed anywhere

yes its right AND yes it should be stopped
What's wrong with this country allowing them to take the p-ss out of our troops. We wouldn't be allowed to do it in their country, but we wouldn't insult them that way.Yet it's ok for them to insult us
The lovely people of Wooten Bassett that turn out in all weather to honour our fallen are being ridiculed by fanatics.
There will be trouble, which is what they are after, but it will escalate to greater heights, where their communities will be threatened.I fear if this is not stopped the peaceable peoples will be threatened.

How can we deny Freedom of Speech for one group of people and allow it for another? Although I disagree with extremists and fundementalists of ALL faiths for thier intolerance, I do support their right to express their beliefs in a peaceful way.
I think we tend to forget that it's not only British soldiers that are dying, but there are also many people dying in other countries because of extremist behaviour.

I disagree - no extremist should have the right to express their sick opinions and that should be the same for all religions not just muslims!! the rest of us should not have to be subject to people who think it is ok to board a plane with explosives strapped to their bodies or fly planes into towers where innocent people are just trying to earn a living!! Disagreeing with someone elses religion or lifestyle is fine but harbouring such haterd is wrong and such people should never be given freedom of speech they should be locked up!!

Eh?
I don't understand what this march has to do with terrorism.
I'm obviously reading the wrong papers.

So, only people who agree with your views should be allowed to express their opinions? It's not only Muslims who hold extremists views - there are fundementalist Christians that bomb abortion clinics and have intolerant views about gay people. Are the fundementalist Christians better than the Muslims because of their faith?

Not even through peaceful demonstration?
There's nothing peaceful about extremists - don't get me wrong I am not saying that all those who want to join this demonstration are extremists (they may be but I don't know for sure) I am sayng in general extremists should never be given the right to free speech!!

So are there extremists on this march or not, or are these people engaging in a peaceful protest and being labelled as something they're not? As long as people demonstrate peacefully every one has the right to freedom of speech and freedom to protest, otherwise you are denying a right and alligning yourself to the type of beliefs which the US and their allies are allegedly fighting to protect.

Who is defining 'extreme'?

I don't read that!
on BBC radio 4 yesterday, Jack Dee and others did a skit on a news segment from Fairy Tale land....the old woman who lived in the shoe, who had so many children etc etc...was rehoused to an Ugg Boot....or so it was reported in the Daily Mirror Mirror on the Wall I've just read that back and unless you heard the show it makes me sound stark raving loony tunes..but it was very funny
Islam4UK is a platform for the global front Al-Muhajiroun which is actually banned under the British Terrorism Act 2006 so I therefore think that they should not be allowed to hold any sort of meeting, marches or anything. They glorify terrorist attacks & have stated that unless we believe their religion then we are all damned. They also claim that our troops are merciless & are commiting genocide amongst lots of other untruths.
I'm still confused as to why a load of people are flying over from other unknown countries to demonstrate in the UK and what terrorists have to do with it all.

If that view involves wanting to hurt or harm innocent people in some way then yes!!Extremism is very different to just disagreeing withsome elses opinions - for example I disagree with many aspects of the muslim religion and that is my choice - however I would never wish any muslim any harm - they choose to believe in the religion and that is their choice and quite frankly no-ones business but theirs - I would never even dream of harming someone because they believe in something I don't!!

But I always thought you were anyway! *runs*
Has no one told them about the Muslims who are killing all these innocent Muslims?
I think they should be told!

So, if someone has extreme views about, say, the NHS spending money on patient transport or something like that, then those people shpould not be given the right to freedom of speech?Reference: Abo
