Tears on Day two are not a great sign. But, plenty of housemates from previous series took time to settle into the BB environment. Glyn, for instance - runner up from BB7, was like a lost lamb during his first week.

Hhmmm, i'm not sure - she claims to be one of the lads, but my first impression suggests complete girlie girl. Regardless, she seems sweet, and in a series that i had not planned on taking a great interest in; is fast becoming my favourite housemate!

Early days - and with such limited Live coverage the HL show is all we have to judge from, i think it might take several weeks to truly get a clear insight, and make a well balanced judgment.

Well, to be fair OHG it does say on C4 website : Sophie claims that her proudest achievement at school was failing all her GCSEs....and she did rather proudly repeat that the other night!

I think she will be OK. She is after all, a model, and that is a world where you have to have a thick skin. I think she is a very pretty girl and seems very nice. I just hope it's not a 'front' and she is actually very bitchy deep down. Hope she doesn't stay with the name dogface though, as it's a stupid name and is rather derogatory. Frowner

Well, she did fail her GCSEs. That would suggest to me (assuming she took them), that she mastered the use of the pen stage of her education - but struggled with the part that followed! Big Grin

Dogface will need a storyline - it will be interesting to see if anything develops around her; interest in Cairon, for instance, could have potential??? I thought she featured quite heavily throughout the Monday night HL show, but it might not have translated in a very positive way for her.

I do have concerns, she clearly fits the cannon fodder mould, and Phil Edgar Jones last year made his intentions very clear regarding the show not being a free lunch for Wanabees!

Not much Dogface activity on LF through the night. I did find this comment over on DS – In the WHATM Thread:

Meanwhile, Halfwit's bored Kairon and Dogface to sleep and Karly's nearly there too

Later in the night Dogface chatted to Sree quite intimately.

BTW Sree appeared to be the focal point of discussion on that Thread through the night.

I just watched back most of the LF from last night - until the last of them went to bed, anyway. I must say that it is pleasing to see that Dogface appears to mix non-exclusively, and with a broad selection of the other housemates.

I was somewhat taken aback by the hand contact Kris and her were making while sat on the sofa. It looked rather sensuous - but i think it was just a comfort thing.

Despite all the HL show screen time that Sophie gained over the weekend, she remains on the periphery of the group. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as she has so far avoided involvement in the major house conflicts. She is far too submissive to the needs of Kris, and really needs to shine on her own terms, if possible.

My prediction for her early exit could be wrong! Everybody in the house seems to like her, and she could float through to the middle weeks at least – which I think would be a huge achievement for her. My concerns are the relationship with Kris that is doing her no favours, and whether or not she pulls her weight around the house.

Now is the time to develop friendships with those that are likely to be there for the long haul, but can she see beyond those that she perceives to be cool? Every time I see her sitting next to Rodrigo I cannot help but think how sweet they look together! Sophie needs to make some decisions for herself now that could determine her future in the Big Brother house.
