Yes, but he is so terrible at it, no one takes any notice, so he just goes around trying to mug people instead.

He can get a little over committed, I grant you Big Grin

Anyway. Berbatov - donkey

A big waste of 32 million quid if you ask me...

That said, he'll prolly end up the leagues top scorer next season, he makes the shevchenko transfer look like a bargainBig Grin

I do hope they sort it out. I'd take him over Berbatov any day.

With Scholes and Giggs surely only a year or so away from retirement they need an attacking player of his class

I so hope Tevez signs, United do want to keep him it's his stupid agent and the third ownership thing Mad.

I believe tevez over that fergie fella or their CEO, and he says there is no offer from utd.

I really hope united win it though as I always think that if any British team get to the final then I hope they are good enough to win.
Bizarelly enough I always want my rivals to get knocked out in the early rounds but if they reach the final of a european cup or championship then I want them to win.

Good for you!

I never comprehend this tribalist crap from (say) an Arsenal or Newcastle fan who would prefer to see (say) Liverpool or Chelsea trounced by a German, Spanish or Italian team rather than get behind the best from 'their' domestic league.

thing is darlo....he had the 'stupid agent and third ownership thing' when they took him on loan......they knew what they were getting into...they haven't just magically appeared.....

now utd might've played clever.....got 2 years out of him....and then not have to negotiate a permanent transfer......but if it was their intention to sign him....well they knew the deal from the off

The way he conducts himself, the fact he will not talk to his fans unless it is on some exhorbitant subscription channel, the fact that he is disrespectful of referees, and the fact he and his team get an easy ride from the FA, and if anyone dares question him, he goes off in a huff to down another crate of whiskey, apart from that he is alright I guess, and a truly great builder of teams.

True Spongey, but if other clubs want to sign him then they would have to go through the Agent Kia Joordachian, plus if he was to leave and sign for another club they wouldn't own his economic rights either which is why it's so difficult. I just hope something is sorted out.

Exactly, they knew the deal, and have shown no signs of wanting to keep him.

I think he will stay at manure, and they will pay the 20 million to sign him, if he really wants to stay after the way fergie has treated him.

He is a fantastic manager, the creator the mind games that sent your manager running for his teddy bear last season and into such a huff he had to make lists of Alex Ferguson's 'transgressions'. It was laughable. Instead of wasting time compiling lists he should have taught his team how not to draw every game and let us win the title. Razzer And for the record, Alex Ferguson is always in trouble with the FA for speaking his mind. He has more fines that most other managers who supposedly get a harder time with the FA

Nah, we have no chance next season, I mean Chelsea will rebuild and be a major force again, Arsenal will not be as injury prone next season, Villa, Everton, Man City, Spurs will all be stronger, Manure will buy another 2 or 3 world class or potential world class players, and we will probably have to sell our best player this season in Xabi to fund a right back and another forward.

a player of his ability won't be happy collecting splinters though cigs....i've always thought that'd be the sticking point....he just doesn't start enough games and those he does he's the one that's subbed.....

i also thought maybe fergie was banking on ronaldo clearing off.....raising some money and leaving a gap in the team.....that doesn't look likely to happen.....

fergie is persisting with berbatov cos of the ridiculous amount of money he paid out for him......and being the arrogant man he is..doesn't want to admit it was an expensive mistake......imo of course.....

I think I'll disagree, I mean, such a great player of mind games, having to get other managers to have ago at Rafa because of someone crossing their arms, funny how big sam never mentioned it to Sammy Lee after the game, the same Slur Alexandra Ferguson who hypocritically says people should focus on their own teams and then goes on to talk about other teamsBig Grin

The only reason Alexandra is trying to play mind games with Rafa is because he is scared that his dynasty is coming to an end.....

Well, it will always have come to an end. There will always be a person waiting around the corner that is better than you. What Alex can be proud of his is legacy. 11 premiership trophies is not bad at all. When Rafa has won that many then you can come and have a go. We will see next season... Cool

I'd love to see him at anfield, but he is unlikely to be a starter there either, so is unlikey to happen, and we don't have that sort of cash.

We will have to indeedBig Grin

There is no doubting fergies ability as a manager he is the best this league has ever seen, just as a person I have never liked him!

What I don't get is that other fans of other teams are hoping Tevez leaves United, which he might do we don't know yet. If he was to leave then they would have to deal with his difficult agent like we've had to, if they was to buy him the third ownership people would still earn his economic rights so the club wouldn't still own him. It's difficult really no wonder we're having problems with the deal.

Or Ronaldo Big Grin Roll Eyes Sleepy. Even the Ronaldo saga did my head in, it will go on and on because Madrid just won't let it drop nor the Press and can't take no for an answer. Tevez just wants to know where he'll be next season, but some of the talking to the Press I feel is a bit disrespectful to Fergie and the players.

well we'll nick tevez for a start........ Wink

leaving......hmmmm......deco....ballack.....i think carvalho may leave.....during the season i would've said malouda....but he's hit form now and looks good........drogba...well for all his faults he's been fantastic for us and i'd love him to stay

alot of course depends on who comes in.......i do think we need to freshen up the forward line a bit.....but then no one will come in wanting to be a bit part player....so that may depend on drogba or anelka leaving....

we need a decent back up keeper.....after carlo left there was no real competition for cech....and his form dipped dramatically....

hopefully we'll be a bit more injury free next season.....losing coley was a massive blow....as was losing essien for a large part of the season.....
