Nylon shirts are the way forward

I work with electronics, the sparks would be seen from space
I don't mind it, I just have a nasty habit of leaving it way too late
I do a lot of ironing.

I have perfected the art of drying washing with next to no creases in
So that's the ironing done. One crease free shirt for tomorrows work activities.

Nope, no ironing AT ALL. I don't even own an iron (well I do but the mother in law borrowed it and never returned it, typical!) so everything goes in the drier if it's really wrinkly.
I honestly don't usually have any wrinkly clothes though, the drier sorts that out. If there's something that REALLY needs ironed I will get my OH to take it up to my Mum and ask her to iron it for me. well it's quicker than him going up to get the iron to bring it here and then take it back.
I'm not a big ironer BUT, freshly ironed sheets, after a long soak in the bath, is there anything better?
I send all my ironing to a local company
Exactly how I do it. Although Mother thinks its disgraceful and will use any opportunity to have a dig at me about it.
I'm the same as Sweet Life is too short imo to stand there making everyone's clothes flat when 9/10 they get creases as soon as they've been worn for 1/2 hour anyway I got all that from my mother
I iron once a week and like Supes the sheets have to be ironed but I use a steam press rather than an iron and what would normally take me hours to do can be done in an hour or less
wash - shake and fold washed clothes - let it rest - tumble or hang to dry
the resting reduces your ironing considerably

Sounds like a good plan Cosi

And me and my mother agrees with yours
I'm off to do some ironing before CDWM.

Why not? Iron goes on and on and on.

Yes, I guess you are right there Cinds. I have more to do tonight. Im was going to say it's like the Forth Bridge, but apparently they have some paint now that means it does not have to be done as regularly.

Done it. One shirt a day - that's my approach

I was gutted when they stopped painting the Forth Bridge. My stock saying was ruined.
