Tis a strange world we live in Renton.
I've just watched a show on Mortuary attendants/pathologists on Scottish Tv(BBC).It was rather interesting if at times a bit sad.Suicide numbers are up much more since the 80's ,mainly men 20-45.Drug deaths inevitably are also up by 50% .Sadly lone deaths (decomposition) finds are also up,millions now live alone.
I am truly moved
Makes me appreciate the country i live in - despite all its faults
I do know that America still executes people that are deemed mentally impaired etc, especially the farther south you go in that country .Texas etc.

Makes me glad that people in this country have a voice, but some TV/newspapers/internet that is being broadcast in this country is pretty dubious too and I do think that people should speak up.
We do not have Capital Punishment in this country, but, just but, if we did would we not be subjected to the same horrific TV?......The News show horrific scenes of people being shot and killed by the police (example..Raoul Moat).
Hows you Renton?

its a sad reflection of our times Katty.
I watched the BBC4 Storyville doc about blind Tibetan teenagers climbing the lower slopes of Everest. The kids were unbelievably inspirational. Makes me really grateful for what I have.
