This is rather good in a hipster kind of way, New Order's Blue Monday played with antique instruments. Sounds pretty similar to me.
I did find that really interesting, but...
I don't mean to be pedantic, and I know it's still contemporary, but I still think using a theremin for this sort of thing is cheating a bit...

It's funny how you get reminded of things, though...
A few days ago I saw an IMDb poll about instrumental (mainly classical) music that you can't think of in the same way again (e.g. the William Tell Overture after seeing "The Lone Ranger"). Combined with this thread, I couldn't help being reminded of this: the Manchester Passion's interpretation of Jesus and Judas at Gethsemane...
(Apologies for the poor quality.)

After you've tried them and they've worked and they've transformed you skin ... you can thank me.
*takes bow*
I follow the thread - the others don't know what they are missing.
I read this thread too.
Yes - thank you
I don't understand the thing with men and their watches. A watch is a watch, right?
I think it's a useful piece of art you carry everywhere you go
Bit like shoes, handbags etc ...
Yeah well, I'm not one for designer stuff anyway....maybe the prices have something to do with it
I don't think it has to cost a fortune.
Art and beautiful things can be in the hairstyle you choose to the way you co-ordinate clothes.
Some of the best artists around are tattooist and women everyday who apply amazing make up

My point exactly! so why do peeps choose to go over the top?
I dunno if I can answer for everyone ...
Showing off is one thing. Keeping up with, or bettering, the Jones' (again - showing off).
Some people just like nice things and sometimes those things can cost.
Some believe it somehow makes them more alluring (again showing off)
For me it's selective - that watch (above) is around ÂĢ2500 (I don't like most Breitling for example)
I wouldn't have a Ferrari - i'd prefer a classic Mercedes SL = ÂĢ20,000
I'd never have a super yacht - a sloop is better
It's kinda buying into a restrained luxury lifestyle
Not sure what they were on about, but I really fancied the red head Stormtrooper on the left.
Always had a thing for Omega watches, especially the Bond themed ones.
Very nice - but expensive for what they are
I have this Guess watch in silver and one in black = ÂĢ100
Nice watches, Sainty and EC.
Eldest son has a thing for watches - some expensive and some inexpensive ones.
