The Florida woman whose video of a road rage driver flipping her the bird, cutting her off and then crashing seconds later said today that she had no idea what was going to happen when she began shooting the video on her iPhone.

The woman, who would not give her name, told ABC News affiliate WFTS she was taken by surprise when a man in a truck began tailgating her on a local highway in Tampa.

The video shows the man trying to pass her and flipping his middle finger at her. He then cuts in front of her, loses control of his truck and spins into the shoulder, hitting a lamppost.

The incident was dubbed “instant karma” on YouTube, where it gained more than 4 million views.

The woman can be heard laughing in the video and saying, “That’s what you get, all on video buddy!”

I was thinking something similar, in our country it would have been an offence to use your mobile whilst driving.

Plus shes staying over in the overtaking lane instead of just pulling over and letting the nob past. Bad as each other

Yeah I was thinking that as well but my brain couldn't work out if she was in the inside or outside lane...

I just thought one was as bad as the other.

I've just stood on a spider in the bathroom, I tried to get my cat (Liquorice) to eat it, but she wouldn't. Afterwards I thought it would be horrible if some huge thing came and stepped on my cat, withing seconds she trapped her leg in the handlebars of the bath. Karma?

I see what you're saying.  But the woman videoing it was just as bad, she sped up to stop him passing her.  AND she was recording him behind her for ages before he drove past and flipped her the bird. Plus, she then carried on recording the accident and shouted abuse at him.  I know it wasn't the UK, but I think leaving the scene of an accident must be wrong no matter where you are.

In short, in my opinion she was as big a dick as he was.

How very bizarre. Why was she even videoing him in the first place? It was almost like she was taunting him to do something. My guess is that she slowed right down (then conveniently videoed the speedo to prove that she didn't). Then speeding up whilst he tried to pass ...

Then the laughing and driving off.

I think she's a psycho

I'd be surprised if the authorities didn't want a word with her as well as him

Yup, between them they could have caused a massive pile up . . they were lucky nothing serious happened.

tbh if some pratty idiot was doing that in front of me and not moving over to let me pass I'd give them the finger when I finally got around them too..

Hope she gets her karma and gets done for dangerous driving ..

all she had to do was move out of the way to the inside lane and let him pass...  what is so hard to understand about that. .it's drivers like her who cause accidents because of their stupidity winding other drivers up  not to mention using a mobile phone while driving too

Honestly, if someone is tailgating me (especially that aggressively) my first thought isn't 'oh I better get my phone out turn around in my seat and film this'.

That is true, we all know there are drivers out there that like to wind up people for whatever reason, and he behaved like a first class twatwaffle. I just can't get over her using a camera phone to film it - surely she can't have been paying full attention to the road, and given how aggressive he was being I would have thought 100% concentration would be necessary - you wouldn't want to lose control and veer across the road

Now that's a word to ponder over Saz. Never heard it before
