Has a generation already gone by?
Reading the BBC News today it would seem everyone is weighing in with an opinion.
Will they have a referendum to see if the people of Scotland want a referendum on independence?

Nicola Turgid says the voice of the Scottish people must be heard.
Well they've already spoken and she appears to be ignoring them.

Exactly, Sainty
I'm sick to the back teeth of that woman telling people she is acting in the interests of/or speaking for the people of Scotland. She is not acting in my best interests, nor will she ever speak for me.
The people of Scotland "spoke" in the last Scottish Independence Referendum in 2014 but Sturgeon didn't like the result, so she is using the Brexit result to try to further her cause. She's nothing but an opportunist.
I detest that woman with every fibre of my being.

She'll never do that, EC, because she wouldn't like the result.

Hi Yogi.
I think that would answer her question and then prevent furture uses of phrases like "The people of Scotland..."
I'm at work and can't do too much Googling, but what was the result last time (the figures)?

Result was 55% No Thanks, 45% Yes.
Recent opinions polls show the people of Scotland don't want another referendum but that won't stop Sturgeon.
We often hear the voting figures of Scotland and Northern Island. I wonder what they are for England...
If Nicola Sturgeon is so certain the Scottish people would vote to leave the UK, why has she left it so long before invoking another referendum?
Always assuming The May will let it happen(she will)?
She wants the best of both worlds. Stay if the outcome of Brexit(hate that word ) is good, leave if it isn't

I agree , and the irony is that she is using Brexit (sorry Moonie ) to justify another referendum ...but the EU reiterated again today that an independent Scotland would have to apply to join the EU .....so vote to stay in the UK Union, or vote to leave , won't make a jot of difference , Scotland would be out of the EU either way

Although close, if the sentiment of the nation has not changed >5% swing would seem too much.
