I feel like a total twit, because I am a big fan of sci-fi, but I have now seen this film twice and still don't get the plot. I', so ashamed and enbarrassed. Can anyone enlighten me?

LOL Starbug. Youre not alone. I watched it once and left the theatre clueless. Still enjoyed it though LOL. 
Try looking at wikipedia. I did that when Shutter Island confuddled me and it explained the plotline quite well.

LOL Pengy I sort of enjoyed it as the special effects were great, but it's kind of marred for me by the fact that I didnt have a ruddy clue what it was about.
