That's a hard one! So many great albums and I keep changing my mind. At the moment I would say Todd Rundgren's "A Wizard, a true Star!"

I love his 1980s  stuff, like Madame Butterfly and The Skipping Song... not sure how that fits in his catalogue...

One likes Country Joe and the Fish but luckily they aren't country either.

Actually now I think I like the end of the Country spectrum where it meats with the Grateful Dead, Commander Cody et al, and the New Riders et al.

If I may interupt, being a Genesis fan, IMO they were the glory days.

Alas! No-one bought the stone Roses album. I had it on eBay at an extremely competitive price. Finished this afternoon, so it now makes a journey to the Heart Shop. I love the Leftfield album, I had the special double CD now on me iPod.

I have the Stone Roses album on tape (& have since downloaded it digitally onto me iPod).. 

(I quite liked the Second Coming too)

& yeah..  Leftism is one of my timeless albums..   I still listen to in the car (fab driving music)

i'd have to agree with songs in the key of life, but i'd also add, back to black, amy winehouse.

It's also fab, take the train to that London, music!

Definitely rosie, 1973. After Peter Gabriel, I lost interest.

its the only album i have ever bought and loved every track, i do the usual thing of getting an album amd only liking one or two tracks.
