Just looking at the still of that clip makes me lift my feet off the floor, the sight of spiders always does for some reason :shudder:

What do spiders do that are so evil? I mean they are just trying to live.
Now man is evil - spiders aren't.

Spiders are good for the home, they kill and eat flies and the likes that lay eggs and leave bacteria.

I have never wanted to intentionally kill a spider. Even as a child.  I normally try to catch them in something and put them out if it distresses someone.

I love spiders,natures eco fly killers.I leave them be in the house.I find them fascinating creatures.The orb web weaving ones in the garden are beautiful,with orange and brown stripes.

Same here... and my youngest daughter is terrified of them but she will not kill them - just whimpers and asks someone else to remove them.

I think it is because my Mum never killed spiders and instilled in me a respect for all living creatures. We had a huge house spider who she called "Charlie". And because she gave it a name, it humanised it for me and thus I was never afraid of it.

Actually I think they can be beautiful and the webs that you can see in the morning dew in gardens are phenomenal.
