For you Stuart . God Bless.
How kind of you, Stuart, to take the time to come on here. I hope the comments and tributes here have given you some comfort.
Take care, and God Bless
I'm thinking there may be a website with full music and text downloads of the funeral. It was all pretty awesome and went like clockwork.
And yes Jenstar/Lori you can remove the contact details but don't block the URL of the funeral download website.
I paid my private respects at 1.30 pm today and thought of Suzi Q....through the sadness I felt I also had a wry smile on my face thinking of her hilarious threads that have kept many of us entertained.....she was one in a million Stuart.....
I keep remembering her in the 'Final Push To Borehamwood' thread and her observations on Carole...I have literally walked home from work after reading her posts in hysterics, like a lunatic on my own, laughing so much....she is missed...
Suzi Q...I salute youand I thank you, just for being YOU x
Goodnight & Godbless
Only just seen this sad news, so sorry to learn of Suzi Q's passing. I didn't know her well, but loved her sense of humour and the way she compiled her eviction threads, she was uniquely funny.
And I will always remember her cat/baby avatar, it always put a grin on my face.
My sincere condolences to you Stuart, I hope you find great comfort in your memories, and am glad to hear the funeral went well.
RIP Suzi.
Katerina - the funeral went brilliantly. Every sound cue spot on, every reading spot on... literally the best in every department. Make sure you die in Calderdale because the staff at Parkwood Crematorium are right on the ball and the sound system is the best and they absolutely know how to use it! Nothing is too much trouble Suzi got the absolute best send off including 'Ding Dong the Witch is Dead from The Wizard of Oz, a track she always insisted she wanted played at her funeral.
I have been reading back through some old posts of SuziQ's and have been smiling at her responce to certain situations and i can safely say this, the sticky, the thread, the comments would have had her in stitches, well from the little of her that i knew. From the on-line her that I knew. She would have loved this
She was a great woman Stuart and was so proud of you and your kids and grandkids.
oooh Katerina
I've only really been the messenger here. I haven't posted on things that Suzi loved... yet. But get me going on Strictly Come Dancing.
Naturally I'm a different person and couldn't possible step into her shoes. But I do have wit and wisdom of my own.
Oooops I meant Cologne

I wonder if there's anyone clever enough to find that thread?
Stuart, I'm glad the day went as well as it could have done given the circumstances.
Had a few moments for Suzi this afternoon, I am pleased everything went well in the circumstances Stuart and thank you for the update.
I'm glad Suzi got the kind of send of she wanted and deserved, Stuart.
(btw - I youtubed Holly Vallance last night.. now that WAS a good 'modern music' tango!)

awww so glad everything went well - can't get over it though
oh thats so sad.. really sad, that really sucks.. cancer is a terrible evil
Goodnight Suzi, God Bless
Hey Supes
I'm not Suzi nor can ever pretend to be... He/She may well be right, but I gave her a bloody good send off in true Yorkshire, Suzi fashion, and I bet she's already arguing the toss with St Peter or whoever/wherever you go! You all know her. If something's not right she'll let you know!

Hoochie has all of those threads somewhere, I'll ask her to send me the link to where they are stored. I reread them after C4 closed down and loved it.
Cologne, shame on you
It was the highlight of my BB week reading Suzi's skit on the eviction night. I had to check every 5 minutes to see if it was up yet. She was one talented lady with a marvelous sense of humour. You were a lucky man to have her Stuart, i'm sure you don't need us ( total strangers) to tell you that. She left many memories for us and , i'm sure, many more for you. Our thoughts are with you and her loved ones at this sad time. May she rest in peace

Tbf, I didn't know her as well as many on here Stuart, but, imo,now is a time of respect: for her, her life and her loved ones and that includes riding with the anger and passion which is part of the grieving package. Glad there was a good send off x
EDIT: This makes it look like I said something bad, rathe than a post that the mods deleted and I subsequently agreed to delete my quoted response!
Ding dong the witch is dead!! Way to go Suzi!

Top class. I've always said that's the track I want at my funeral.
Nice one Suzi!
I kept remembering that song today and having a smile to myself ! Brilliant
Just heard about Suzy....very sorry,Suzy always made me laugh. Bless you all
I expect the moderators will soon close this thread down but... I cannot begin to tell you all how much I've appreciated all your comments. Suzi was a star and Ding Dong the with is dead will be her swansong... even if we did have an awful lot more of her favourite music at the funeral, not least Concerto De Orange Juice from the film Brassed Off and all her favourite Purcell tracks.
Of course this has been a difficult time but you have all made it easier. And look out for me in my own right as Strictly Come Dancing comes back to BBC1. Sorry but I absolutely hated Big Brother so don't expect any comment on that.
And look out for other things that Suzi loved but may not have had the time to comment on. And even a bit of me... really... I have all those passions similar to Suzi... that's why I married her in the first place... even if they are a bit different!!
Evenin, Stuart, good to "see" you again!
I don't watch Strictly, but hope to see you in the main forum from time to time .
Hi Slinki.... you mean you don't watch SCD? Oh Dear... I used to post regularly into the BBC forum for the programme. Don't worry if you thought Suzi could be opinionated you ain't seen me in full flow!
Stuart, you will be very welcome in the Strictly thread.
There's plenty of stuff to be opinionated about after BB...try being here when there's a General Election
Good to see you back here, and hope you and your family are ok.
Just seen this; so sad
But I did laugh out loud at "Ding dong the witch is dead"
Mine and my families condolences to You and yours Stuart.
