...is that the one around London?...there's one here in July. It's a 6 mile one around the town, but it starts at 9.30pm-midnight, not keen on doing that one, as there will be a load of pi$$ heads around Shake Head

I really should make more of an effort to do something worthwhile like that.. Shake Head

You really should try, hun; it's a very good cause, and the events are usually a great laugh. You can find an event near you here.

I loved it last year, and I was going again this year, but I've had to withdraw Frowner

Thanks Sarum Smiler

I was inspired by my neighbour who ran the London Marathon this year - and she doesn't keep very well but still she did it Thumbs Up

Good for you, subeeloo Thumbs Up I hope you raise a lot of money.

I was going to participate in a walking event in June, but sadly I've been advised by the organisers not to.
....oh hun, what is the matter? I hope you are ok Wink

Oh, I'm fine Smiler

It's not because of injury or poor health; I, and two friends, have had to withdraw for diplomatic reasons.
It's a shame really; we had nearly ÂĢ400 in sponsorship between us, which of course won't be paid now.

......some woman can't run for one reason or another. It's not like the Marathon, there are all shapes and sizes doing it. As long as we do the 5k, there isn't a timje limit, it's a fun Race. It's just for women who have experienced cancer and lived through it, or women who are having treatment, or just women like me, who have lost family or friends etc..... It's a worthy cause, and hopefully loads of ÂĢÂĢÂĢ will be raised for it Thumbs Up
