Yes, you do get alot of strange looks and negative comments, ignorance...i told a couple at the table in Manchester to F**k off! They were actually moaning and pulling their stupid faces because they were eating!!! I was like this

My Sister gets a kind of twitch in her tongue about 30 to 6 seconds before she has a fit..which I guess is a good thing really as she at least has warning!

I have a good friend who has epilepsy and she says that whenever she gets a fit she hears a song playing in her head, its always been the same familiar song. but after the fit she doesn't know what it was. shes never ever been able to recall it, she just knows when she hears it she knows it. i find that really really strange. Thankfully she hasnt had a fit for many years now.

See, all I could remember was to move all objects out of the way... and not to restrain (I remembered us stepping over my friends brother on the hall floor when we were kids, as he had a fit).

But, where this girl had fallen, I would have had to move her to get her head away from the shoe seat thingy (its fixed to the floor). So I just kneeled down and rammed my thigh between the seat and her head.... so she thrashed against my thigh.

I still don't know if I did the right thing. If I should have moved her etc. Once I'd gone to sit with her and ask people if they'd called for help I didn't need to tell them to push off... they were all gone so quick I had to shout for help.

So sorry DD Someday we will all be reunited with our family and friends.

So sorry for your loss DiD, I know how you feel, I lost my childhood friend in a car accident when we were both 18, just remember her and the good times, and like many others on thread have said, you will see her again one day.

So sorry for your loss DD. 42 is no age at all but at least it sounds as though your friend lived her life to the full while she was here.
