Youtube has sucked me in!! I always end up staying up too late once that happens!

I have been in the dark with the Christmas tree lately when baba wakes up at 5am, i put her in play pen/travelcot with a bottle of milk with only twinkling Christmas lights on the tree on even though i would rather be snuggled in bed i do kind of enjoy it

Enjoy the moments Jenstar, they are short lived, and never to be repeated...

Baz, He had a great Birthday, cannot believe we have had him for 7 years.....(and yes me mouse keeps me up late .)

That's great Syd And I know what you mean...... my son, daughter and their families (4 of my grandchildren) were all here yesterday .... it doesn't happen very often, cos my son lives 200 miles away .....  the eldest grandchild is now 17... and the youngest will be 7 next week.... made me feel ancient

I had egg and chips too!

Made the chips myself because I'm obviously a right old Domestic Goddess

They were just what the doctor ordered too   A bit of salt and lashings of ginger beer vinegar...all washed down with a cuppa cha.  Happy bellies all round at Cosmo Towers.

In fact, today has been bliss.  Just my kids, me and the old fella - no entertaining, no catering to the masses.

I could go a Turkey sandwich right about now  (note: my wine fuelled fingers just typed minja)  I love xmas food!!  I haven't got any though  I did, however, just alternate sips of white wine spritzers with a cup of Heinz chicken soup  I don't think my stomach will react too well to that.

AND tonight is the first night I've enjoyed a drink over xmas, any other night felt like I 'had' to drink just coz it's xmas.....that sounds a bit silly but it just seemed like we were supposed to have a drink.

I quite like a bit of mouldy cheese but I'm saving it for when the cooking capabilities desert me...

I'm with Ells, today is the first day where I've really enjoyed my drink

I must be ill (I AM!  I've got some kind of iffy ache/pain thing lurking), but I've decided that the way forward is to keep attacking it with random doses of refreshments.

It's the way forward; onwards and upwards - huzzah!
