Nope, in all cases they said that was their stance, even before the cases started. No way were they going to go for a guilty verdict!!! Its such fun to be on jury duty with people like that NOT!
Sorry squiggle, I find that difficult to believe. A juror would have reported "their stance." It`s illegal.

Exactly. Someone who took the process seriously would do that - I know I would.

I think I can now post in here again...
I'm banking on hours of boredom - OH did jury duty at the same court a while back and never got selected. They have DVDs and all sorts to keep people amused. I'm going to take a book and some knitting

Sorry Scotty its fact.  What fascinated me was that it happened in my husband's case too.  How many of these people are there?  And incidentally you are on a jury, you have had to go through the rigmarole of being picked, those judges can be quite stern, then you find out a fellow juror has this attitude, who are you gonna tell?  Well perhaps you are much braver than me and all the rest of my fellow jurors who knows? Suffice it to say that as my last case finished I made a vow to myself that never ever would I do jury service again, no matter what excuse I might have to come up.  And that is still the way I feel.  Incidentally one my fellow jurors in my last case was Bob Crow's brother in law.

[quot]Sorry Deman not trying to 'disrupt' any thread.  Just joining in.  I thought that's what a forum was about.[/quote]

Or "tweaking tails" as you called it in the Freddie thread, when you were supposedly "just joining in" the political threads. Do yourself a favour and leave a thread started by someone who has previously told you they're not interested in anything you say.

As far as I know Deman you do not own this forum.  You do not own this thread.  I will post in any thread that takes my fancy.  Tweaking tails was a lighthearted reference to being severely outvoted in many political threads.  I am surprised at the bitter tone you are taking.  As I say, as far as I know you do not have the right to tell me where or when to post. Hope you enjoy your jury duty.

Am I not allowed to say that I was on jury service with Bob Crow's brother in law, who was incidentally very proud of the fact and told us all repeatedly.  I have no idea.  What sort of law would I be breaking I wonder?

Deman if you have a quick look in the Freddie thread, which you obviously do, then you will know that we do not bitch about other forum members.  Quite the opposite in fact.  Your opinion of me does not bother me in the slightest.  If you feel that way about me and my posts feel free to ignore them (and me).  As for me I shall continue to enjoy the forum in my own sweet way.
