Whataloadoffeckingrabbish......and sorry Ted but I beg to differ that my dialogues are over on LC cos they're not and the colour is a load of Wagner..not very good for those with sight problems....

I agree ......................my eyes are pretty good but I much prefer the old black text on white background. Can see it being a bit problematic TBH.

I'm finding it hard to read and I know I'll end up with a migraine with it....

indeed, I don't usually have any problems reading the forum, but this really does draw your eyes 

My head`s thumping trying to read and get around this place. I`m off to listen to Judge Judy shouting.

oh and post count gone, so anyone changing their name to yours could do so easily and we wouldn't have a clue 

The circles in the background are not helping not good for the eyes..

You have to click the dialogue box up..then highlight the txt then click the quote button in the dialogue box Aimee....

Not everyone can quote I am on safari it does not work..

I can`t quote either.

Dame I never thought of that yes taking the post count away someone could take our identity and we would not know

I've heard Safari is playing up with the quotes..

LC has lovely bright colours looks like they have had the best of the makeover....in more ways than one.

nah... that wouldn't happen Marge.    The account that had changed its name to look like an existing forum member would be the account that was bopped.

However...   there is a risk of just general trouble making and stuff..  same old, same old kinda thing.  Which we could do without.

Owe you a big thank you we do (me, my family & my brother)...   my mother is the hardest person in the world to buy presents for.    When I was talking to her the other day she was saying how hard she was finding it to keep her feet warm...    I'd never had normally thought about my Mum having Uggs...  but I remembered you saying you loved yours.    I let her try one of mine on...  and she loved them.

So we are all clubbing together and getting her the short classic ones for christmas now

Would the mods allow two people to have the same username, Dame?
When I joined CH4, I couldn't have Yogi Bear, as there was an existing member with that name.

I don't think they allow it Yogi, but it could be done for a short space of time, it's easy to edit it your user name. I agree with Ditty, they would just ban the IP addy, but it could still be an opening for a little bit of stirring if someone had a grievance.

It managed to happen a couple of weeks ago. Although it was someone I know genuinely having a laugh but still....

Our ID's are now numbers so unless the MODS were alerted that something wasn't right then there's always the chance that someone could grab your avatar and change to your username, will just be harder to spot now instead of being able to hover over the username like before and the registered name would show up in the bottom left hand corner. I raised this last night in the community announcements thingy up there ^^^^, gonna see if Lori answered.

I am finding this colour scheme a bit of a downer. It is subtly affecting my mood.
More importantly it makes my avatar look extremely shabby!

It`s affecting my mood too brisket.
And I can`t quote - see quotes properly - find my site - no ticker - smilies don`t have the same effect in the dark - on and on.... 
I`m in a right mood

Scotty  my daughter just phoned me she could tell straight away my mood was down, and when she asked me what was wrong I bet she wished she had not bothered

You have to log in separately and then you'll see at the top of the page the links for 'Ticker' 'Dialog' etc., ....that said, my ticker is shot to pieces as it doesn't tie in with this gaga site or the threads I've posted in.  
So apart from old PM's, blogs and a buddy list, I can't see much use for LC (imo).  I must be missing the point...?

Cosi Christmas Cracker, I think you've summed up the position accurately, Livecloud is effectively redundant apart from historical PMs, blogs and your own wall. As you say you need to log in separately from here. Also if you make any changes to your profile including changing the time when clocks change you need to make those changes here, and if you continue to use Livecloud, you have to change them there separately.

In the thread I created over in Community Announcements where I listed links to all the old channels, I have now revised that to add a link to the Livecloud site. As my thread has a sticky, it will continue to be visible over in Community Announcements.

Ticker`s all to pot but at least I can get into my site.

It`s an odd set up though - having to have 2 windows open - one for the forum the other for your site/ticker etc....
It was simpler before.

Highlight the text you want to quote, hit reply then click the quote button up on the right. The quote used to come up automatically but this way is better for multiple quotes if you're a bit of a quotaholic.
