If it helps I used to refer to my unborn daughter as splodge.I think it may be as Brisket says, a way of dealing with her anxieties.

Sorry but i think think you need to butt out, its her baby and her who is carrying it inside her body, shes its mother. Have you forgotten how bad being pregnant can be? If she calls baby names when shes born then have a quiet word with your son but for now leave the girl alone

Nah... madam is right to be concerned
i have butted out , i ....... no my whole family , nieces and daughter dont agree that you should call an unborn baby * cowbag* ........ as i said i have said nufin , but all i can say its not nice
Nah i really didnt like being pregnant recently (5month old) My baby girl used to have her feet wedged up in my ribs for days and it killed me, i reckon i must have called her a couple of names when she hurt me etc. may have even called her a cowbag doesnt mean i dont love her though
One of my unborns was called Malcolm.
My mates pink bump is (and has been from the start) called Boris
did you say she must be dressed in black ? no pink allowed , no visiting allowed ?
its a wee girl . fgs a feel worse nooo i must be getting auld

Ok the visiting thing is bad, the black thing odd... but you werent moaning about those things to begin with lol
I'm guessing shes a rocker/goth which is fair enough, wait til she tries to find enough black baby clothes to last a couples of sick/pooey changes lol she'll soon change her mind Best way is to grin and bare it til she learns better as any disagreeing will only make her more determined to stick to her guns

I honestly think a little tiny Metallica t shirt would be really cute, and I have to say that I searched high and low to find some black clothes for Growly Jnr when she was a baby. I found all the expectations that I would dress a baby girl in pretty sugary pink clothing really irritating, and I was very upset on a couple of occasions when I was told I was wrong to dress my baby how I wanted to.
It's not the nicest of names to call an unborn baby, but I really don't understand why this is a problem or why you should be offended by what she calls her baby. I hated every second of being pregnant, and couldn't wait for it to be over - perhaps she is not enjoying pregnancy?

On second thoughts, perhaps she might see Cow bag as a term of endearment? I have always called Mr G the Old Sh*tbag for the last thirty years, and I love him dearly
