Just seen your post about where it is. I have had some brilliant times at Portmerion. What a beautiful place it is.Have a nice time, hope the weather is good for you.
I have always wanted to visit that place, ever since seeing it in The Prisoner. We're staying at the Portmeirion Hotel, in a 'deluxe' suite which could be either in the main hotel building, or one of the little ante-buildings scattered around town that are part of it.
Then after that we're going to see some friends in the top-right of Enmgland, but before that we're spending one night here, which should be strange:

I've never been to the lochs, but I'd love to go one day. Karma, you must - particularly since you've got a mate with a place there!

I'd either like to go the Loch Lomond or the Lake District, Deman. Just somewhere completely different, quiet and near the water is what I need to do soon. Want to wait till it warms up a bit though, I'm dead soft about the cold and moan for England
