I have a rangemaster range cooker, anyway to cut a long story short, my smoke alarms kept going off due to my ovens(Not me burning stuff, more coz the ovens needed cleaning)Opened the packet of oven cleaner and it provides a plastic bag to put racks in, states put racks in plastic bag with half the contents of oven cleaner & shake, there are 9 racks in my oven so that didn't bloody work. Spent hours cleaning them so have decided never to let them get dirty again. I even found what I thought was wheels, then realised it was burnt pepperoni. Ovens look like new now and if I catch anyone cooking in them, I'm gonna kill em.

Queenie I swear the Rangemasters have been designed by a man, mines got a ceramic top so that bit gets cleaned every day & is easy, but what Man Muppet designed the knobs and the ovens?

Mine's duel fuel so I've got the six ring gas top. I spend about an hour a week cleaning it.

I bought it for it's looks, Royal Blue with Brass trimmings, never thought about how hard the flipping thing was clean. But it's OK now because it's going to be an ornament.
You need roasting bags....No more dirty ovens with those.

If my husband got a roast dinner from me, he'd faint.

You can do chops steaks and all sorts in them....Season them with whatever and you're good to go....No splashed hob or oven they're great

Thanks ~Lee~, I've never used them, but I will now, It's got to be better than cleaning the ovens.

My microwave is a fan oven, grill & mike, I can honestly say the only thing it get's used for is warming up cups of tea I've made & let go cold. Otherwise it's used as my bread bin.
