If it was just a tenner then it would just be credited to his online account.   I won ÂĢ70 once and that too was just credited to my online account (you have to then go and withdraw them from your account if you want them in you bank)

So.... I am thinking its gonna be more than a hundred quid!

(I used to do it online... before my old laptop had its sticky keyboard issues... and I tried to log in three times... but the sticky keyboard kept buggering up my password so it locked me out...  and I do not want to ring and speak to their customer service advisors!)

Hey don't knock a tenner! It'd still buy you a cod and chips and a small pickled onion, or 10 items from poundland   Talking of which, I had a neighbour once who did that, went and bought 7 things from poundland/similar outlet and wrapped them all up individually so it looked dead impressive. It was honestly the biggest pile of crap I'd ever seen.

We never pay for our fish and chips - it's the family business - and in our shop you could get large haddock and chips twice for 8.20 mushy peas included. Pickled onions and wallies are kept under the counter for the more discerning customer

What are wallies? I'm thinking silly people but you can't keep people under your counter so it must be summat else

Maybe it's a regional thing, but the price of cod has gone through the roof here. Saying that though, I have just recalculated and you could squeeze a sausage in batter into that tenner with the cod and chips and picked onion.
